Is there a checkbox in the options? It’s totally killing the mood for my friends and I who never experienced it before. My girl gets dizzy from it and everyone’s pretty pissed you broke thier mounts.
Open mount page. Top center theres a drop down option
thank you very much. I kept looking under collectables thinking it might be there but didn’t see the drop down.
Be warned i think dragonriding is the default in TWW until pathfinder is unlocked though
Lot of time though you can get around it, for quests they give you a non dragon riding option and you can mostly ground mount aside from a few quick situations
flip the switch bro
As long as I can turn it off I’m good. Going to check now.
I agree it’s horrid everyone in our guild hates it…
We should have option to turn it off immediately not having it forced upon us, shoved down our throats.
Ridiculous we have to do a long as hell chain quest then explore whole game just to turn it off…
Blizzard has become a Tyrannical dictatorship
I dont get why you all hate skyriding
I hate running out of vigor from just trying to get around
They increased steady flight speed too, so it’s pretty good
Unironically a skill issue
Not really, you need to use multiple vigor just to get up to speed, if you’re just going a distance it’s fine, if you’re making short hops it sucks
You can’t explore because your moving 1000mph
You can’t fly from on area of a quest to another because going 1000mph.
Navigation is ridiculous.
You have to crash land face first every where.
It’s not fun.
It’s clunky.
Should be an option from the start, not mandatory.
It takes time to get used to. I was afraid of losing vigor and landing in a pile of mobs.
Now I just point where I want to go, press 4, and hope for the best.
One has to wonder what people are doing that they actually manage to run out of vigor
Use Aerial Halt.
Question: when you’re on “ye old style flying mount” and you’re divebombing from 1000yd in the sky, do you not also land face first?
There are settings now you can adjust to help with the motion sickness. I get very motion sick and these settings make all the difference. It’s the Accessibility tab under Options. You can also adjust how the camera moves and follows you but personally just turning on Motion Sickness mode is all I need.
I still cant use dragonflight with any kind of gathering because that’s just too much movement but using it for flying around I’m totally fine now. If you and your gf ever decide to try it again that might help her.
They have turned everything in the game to zoom zoom zoom .
And have alienated the player that likes to explore take his time and enjoy his surroundings, look at dungeons for example they have turned into a race and not an exploration.
We also need harder dungeons so we are forced to pull single mobs and use strategies. Not just zoom zoom dungeons
Players are free to explore a dungeon all they want. Grab a group of like-minded players/friends, and have a blast. Ya know, how “it used to be.”
But if you join a random group, you adhere to the rules of the group – ask them if they’d mind exploring or if they’re just there for completion and loot.
Try landing on a cliff or rock spire once in a while. You’d be surprised how breathtaking some views can be and how cinematic it can feel to crash down on a high perch and take in the surroundings
Just because you’re moving fast doesn’t mean you can’t stop now and then to enjoy the scenery
