I think N’zoth will break free, Azeroths world soul will be corrupted, and Magni will either die or be corrupted. Azeroth will become something like the Black Empire. Next expac we will see us, the adventurers, breaking free of the corruption, and every Azerothian person joins together to overthrow N’Zoth. There will be plenty of casualties, many important lore characters will die in battle or through sacrifice, but we will emerge victorious in the end. At the end, we realise that the hostility between the Alliance and Horde is useless, and we all merge to form one faction, dedicated to the destruction of all those who would dare threaten our world.
My response is still the same as previous threads asking this: no idea. There’s no real direction to anything or a giant flag over someone’s head saying “this is the end of expansion villain” so I’m pretty much clueless and just waiting it out to see.
It seems that Everytime there is a fairly meh expansion there ends up being a really good one after. I can’t even hate warlords because it gave us legion, and if this one ends like warlords did( n’zoth escaping) and resurrecting Y’shaarj, c’thuun and yog’saron then it was an acceptable story to build the next good expansion
Well he is already a disputed Earthen.
Yes, that seems quite reasonable
I’m not sure I’d like the idea of seeing random hordies just hanging around Alliance cities…
Oh and why is it when people suggest that the factions are going to be dissolved, they always ignore Teldrassil and the ramifications of this entire war, like it something that can be swept under the rug? Or is this a case of “since Blizz will ignore it, so will we”?
In a word: Unsatisfactorily.
I … really doubt we’ll see the dissolution of the Faction System (especially after Teldrassil).
I DO however think we’re all going to get our collective teeth kicked in, and I would absolutely love the return of the Black Empire in some form. We’ll see the end of the “FACTION CONFLICT” (if for no other reason than the need for forced cooperation and both sides being too decimated to continue fighting each other). Also, lets face it, The Black Empire returning in some form does make territorial distribution rather superfluous.
Sylvanas will turn out to be the good guy all along by using the power of death to stop the Void, and everyone will be forced to acknowledge that her plan made sense.
Not with a bang but with a whimper. Possibly also with head shaking and a deep frustrated sigh
Mainly because slyvanas will die and the black empire will be back
Meh.
I am sick of big overarching narratives and wars that consume both factions. No matter how BfA ends, I just want to go on an adventure in the next expansion and not have to worry about the Alliance or Horde.
That’s why I loved Pandaria so much. Sure, there was some faction stuff at the start and in later patches, but much of the new continent was just us and the locals.
So we’re just going to ignore Teldrassil then? K.
I mean Blizzard has been doing that.
Yes it’s not like the alliance didn’t attack undercity or assassinate the king of a until now neutral kingdom
Who did we assassinate?
Time travel to alternative Azeroth to bring Sylvanas to justice.
Involves a lot of humans and night elves are written out of plot till people forget about Teldrassil.
The Horde players will be told they are bad.
The Alliance players will be told they are losers.
The king of zandalar?
Failed in their attack of Undercity*
assassinate a literal who no one cared about*
