How do you tell what covenant someone has?

If you’re posting your group in the group finder - can you see what covenant a player has active when you hover over their name? Or do you have to invite them and inspect them?

Personally, I think I’d just ask them. That’s just me though.

I guess you have to ask them like how they did with the specs. Personally I wouldn’t mind which covenant you are but I’m not a mythic player.

It will probably show on the armory if all else fails. Which means that people who have their armory hidden are at increased risk of being declined because it looks like they have something to hide.

Sadly true.

It starts with the covenant system restrictions and funnels its way into pugs.

The “elite” players just group amongst themselves.

With the vampire teleport skill watch it will function as the heroic leap need a line of sight lol

Players not playing with people they don’t want to play with isn’t gate keeping. Said players can just make their own group, they aren’t kept out of content unless they want to be.

Add ons will be made most likely to display your covenant in group finder.

It would be too much of a hassle to manually make sure all your members have the right covenant for your dungeon.

I mean this was called out the instant the covenant system was explained.

I’m just curious how the people on beta are able to see what group applicants have chosen.

You ask them to use their signature ability.
Or an addon will do it if they don’t put it easily discernable on an inspect.

Dunno if you can inspect Soulbinds, but if you can, then that’s all the information you need.

Armory sites like RIO would then have API access to people’s Covenant choices. So you could just search people on RIO.
