Curious how folks do this. Been struggling with finding a reasonably reliably method to easily see 4 primary Aug targets amidst the raid frames.
I’ve thought about trying Macros, but the main issue a Macro would be challenging is the range - my target may be out of it. In which case, it may not cast or may fire on a random target rather than one of the other back-ups I’d have in mind.
What I’ve been doing is using a mouseover macro on the frame, but I feel that’s not ideal as - A.) It can sometimes lose track of the person especially if we moved groups around and B.) In the heat of the battle, I may hover a bar next to them, not them.
What’s your preferred method of making sure you’re Auging the right targets in raid?
While clickable weakauras potentially have a lot of risks/issues, I’ve been loving one called “Dave’s clickable prescience frames”. You can find it on wago.
It lets you customize a frame with whatever/however many targets you want(I keep 6 up) and it will let you right click to prescience those targets.
Once applied, it starts a depleting timer over the frame as well as lighting up any frames using major DPS CD’s.
I still use a mouse over for pres in case I need to stray from those 6 targets (i.e. warrior before fatal mark/execute phase).
Feel free to reach out in range if you need help with it.
I use Vuhdo’s “private tanks” feature to set up the subset of the raid I want to buff. I have OmniCD set up to track those people’s cooldowns. Prescience is primarily used to ensure you get EM on the targets with cooldowns coming up during that EM window.
