How do you stink bomb?

From talking with friends, it seems there’s two types of people who do the stink bombing daily during Hallow’s End.

  • The ones who will circle again just to hit a player they missed earlier, and try to hit every bank entrance and AH within range.
  • Those that drop bombs as fast as the cooldown allows then hit 2 for home.

I’m the former, which one are you?

Also, we should stink bomb different cities every day. Stink bombing Undercity seems a bit redundant, but Thunder Bluff, Ironforge, and old Darnassus would be fun.

I play on emerald dream. I’ve never seen another player in undercity while I cruised along. So, it becomes a game of “when’s the CD up?”

Both.
I will try and do it as fast as possible, and aim for everyone i see.
If i miss someone, there is a 50/50 chance im coming back around for another shot.

Its to make sure the undead stay homeless.
They clear the blight out. We throw it back in.

Will concur that there are no actual players in undercity so I spam the button on cooldown. Even if there were players around I think I’d be doing the same thing though. It’s not like the stink debuff actually even does anything, which is how it should be, but damn some of you are, I don’t know, whatever you are. Confrontational? Nah, but whatever.

This Simpsons bit forever changed my outlook on stink bombing, and it’s why I think Thunder Bluff and Darnassus are the best stink bombing targets. They are/were the two most dignified capitals.

Fun fact: and this may be hard to follow but…

If you run the stink bomb quest in UC, complete it, and then log off while still on your broom in UC, you log back in at the GY in Tirisfal, which allows you to do the wickerman quest without having to make the trip.

I would target mailboxes, auction houses, flight master and the bank in the Undercity when there were lots of people around.

Now it’s just empty so I just throw the stink bombs fast as I can to complete the quest.

Would people be more willing to target others if:

  • There was a reward or achievement for stink bombing others?
  • You got honour points for every direct hit?
  • Instead of stink bombs, it was a flaming poop bag?

idk but all I know is if I see someone it’s like TARGET ACQUIRED!

So, this is why I take the quest to clean up the stink bombs, but never turn it in, so I can use the cleanser on myself or other players for the duration of the holiday.

As for the original question; as fast as it recharges then home.

I’m Alliance. There’s no one in UC to stink bomb. I just throw stuff wherever until the quest is complete.
