How do you stack a no-show debuff?

  • The stacking deserter debuff “No-Show” that is applied when leaving a Solo Shuffle or Battleground Blitz match is now applied account wide (was character specific).

so if you leave a BG, you get a account wide inability to enter rated content.

my question is: how do you get a second stack if you can’t get in a bg to even get the second stack?

you follow?

if you put a gun to my head you couldn’t get a second stack if you tried??? stacks? how do you get in another rated to get a second stack?

It gets worse every time you get the debuff on separate occasions. It will be longer today if you got the debuff yesterday.

Thats not “stacking” in wow.

They should have used the word “compound” (or something, cant think of the correct word rn) if what you say is true.

Okay.

Yeah it’s more of a “cumulative” debuff than a stacking debuff.

I completely see your point but if done correctly it could be “stacking”

Desert once get debuff 1 stack
Desert next day get debuff 2 stacks
Desert next day get debuff 3 stacks

It’s the same concept of stacking debuff that you have to drop for a specific duration for it to go away. It’s just over a longer period of time.

I didn’t know about this, I’m glad they are doing it though.

There is probably some sort of timer that if you get a 2nd/3rd/4th penalty withtin a certain time frame it will stack.

I see this as both good and bad.

GOOD when it is used for the intent it was made for, punishing disruptive players.

BAD when disruptive players use it maliciously on others.

Just today I got an 88 minute debuff for LITERALLY no reason. I just finished a RBG. I queued up for another one and a shuffle, I needed to do something on my DK so I LEFT queue, wasn’t even in a match. And logged out, then when I logged back over I had an 88 minute debuff for zero reason. This is getting beyond annoying
