i started it on my main but swapped to a low geared toon to get the gear from the story line.
I completed the story, and got the wraps for the alt. but now, my main has no skip option.
do I have to run it all the way because I started it or is there still a skip option?

Well the Undermine campaign could be skipped with the Inn Keeper at any point i believe, maybe its similar here?
Ok so I just finished the current campaign and yeah, it’s not actually finished yet, that’s why there’s no skip.
I’m guessing it will be available next week.
The same happened with Undermine where Gazlowe needed to be convinced or whatever.
So unless you wanna speedrun the campaign over and over, better wait next week to get into alts
Did you clear both the Reshii wraps intro and phase diving intro? If you did, you can immediately pick up the Reshii wraps on alts this week.

the purple quest marker is on a toon not well marked and very hard to see. do the last 4 steps and you get the skip
Did you actually finish all of it including the phase diving intro?
You’re supposed to have a skip as soon as you take the portal after you’ve done it on one character. You just do the portal opening intro in Dorn, then the second NPC you talk to has a skip option.
If you already did part of the campaign past that point on another character I’m not sure where you go to activate the skip but I’d guess it’s available still on some NPC.
Why they gotta overcomplicate everything?
You have to progress the quest on your alt just enoough to get Locus Walker to open the portal. Then you talk to the large broker guy, Om’en at the entrance to Taz’avesh
I don’t see any NPC’s that have the skip for my main. I did the same thing as the OP, now I’m stuck in the middle of the campaign, even though I’ve completed it on my alt. Upgraded my cloak, etc. But there is no skip on my main since she’s in the middle of the campaign.
All my other alts gets the option when using the portal to Tazavesh. But the guy that normally has the skip is no longer at the podium for my main.
this is exactly my problem too, i dont wanna grind for another damn hour to finish
You need the Achievement: Become a Hero, Become a Phasediver! and it unlocks the skip.
I got the wraps on my alt and they were 707, I didn’t need to upgrade them. Having to upgrade the ring on our alts every time was flat out sadistic.
I have the wraps, and did the skip on 5 other toons. Just went to do it on the 6th today and had no option to skip.
That’s just wonderful, now even if I figure out what the issue was I likely have to slog through this awful campaign again.
I genuinely wish Blizzard would stop doing “Campaigns.” The story isn’t any better for it, it’s just a giant pain.
I also noticed this tonight, I opened a bug report as well as there’s a thread on the bug forum. I hope they get it ‘fixed’ soon’ish
Requirements are just:
Then you have to accept the starting quest from locust - walker, go through the portal, and then the next quest you accept through the portal talking to the 4-6 legged guy in Tazavesh will have the skip straight to chapter 3, and all of the World Quests will pop up immediately after the skip.
That’s no longer the case as of today. Tested it on 2 alts (one that just hit 80 today). Did the skip no problem on three alts before today previously.
is there any update on this? i accidentally started the questline on an alt but im not doing that campaign again… any way to skip it after starting the quest if i already ahve the cape on my main???
I’m pretty sure you have to take the skip before you start progressing the campaign. Once you begin, the NPCs relocate.
I am running into this as well with the alts that I started before the skip.
