How do you say shaman?

I’ve literally used voice ONCE since cataclysm and of course when I come in to work I don’t report to a shaman or buy drinks from a shaman at the bar on the weekend so I found myself tongue-twisted when I tried to say the word when I did 2s a couple months back.

Is it shay-man
Or shah-man???

Yellow teethers say Shay-man. Muricans say Shah-man. Since us U.S.A’rs are better at PvP irl and in WoW our way is the right way.

It’s weird. NA usually calls it shah-man while, EU usually calls it shay-man.

it’s historically in all cultures where shamans were ‘real’ shah-man

shayman is for weird accent EU players or hillbillies

I use the “shah-man” pronunciation and a quick google search on dictionaries and shamanism articles proves most others do as well.

So, there ya have it. Leave the “shay-man” to those who say “ale-oo-min-ium.”

Officially I think both are accepted

Sha-man but when you’re referring to people who play the class it’s pronounced 13-hundos
