This is literally the longest conversation we’ve ever had, so how would I know that? am I supposed to take your word for it?
The fact is that whoever has made up names has chosen to use exotic spellings that have no obvious English pronunciation. Despite the fact that npc’s say “dren EYE”, in English the ‘ae’ has no particular pronunciation, and short vowels are signaled by double consonants. So the apparent pronunciation of ‘Draenei’ in English is ‘DRAIN-eye’.
