You can either give half the sanity or use an orb. How exactly do you rez without the orb? There’s no button or cogwheel or any sort of interaction to be able to do it and that wastes Synchronized Mind Stabilizer if you can’t even do it with out the limited use orb.

I vaguely recall you either just click on them or I don’t remember. The last time I did them with other players was back in BfA.

Ok, I don’t know if this has been answered, but this is what my husband and I do.
Whoever dies needs to wait until the sanity gets low for the other person. The one alive needs to kill as much as they can and get back to the dead person before they pop the orb.
We’ve been able to get through everything with no issues doing it this way.
Others may have other suggestions, but this works for us.

P.S. if you do click them… it’ll remove sanity. So, the way I laid out for you is really the best way to use sanity wisely.
Do you have your full talent tree filled out for the visions?
You will get atleast one free rez from your talent points as well.
Some UI may be blocking extra button for sanity orb. If anyone’s missing it, make a new macro
#[showtooltip Sanity Restoration Orb
/cast Sanity Restoration Orb
put the macro on your hotbar somewhere. If you used the default ? icon, it’ll show the orb with remaining count while in vision
This is hilarious. Not a single person has answered my question. Probably because there IS NO WAY to do it. No, don’t tell me uSe tHe sAnItY oRb because i literally said, how do you give them half your sanity to rez that way. There is no interaction with the corpse or the big yellowy ghost that comes up. Amazing job blizzard, breaking something that wasn’t broken as per your usual MO.

It isn’t broken; you either use one of the talent tree self rez or you use an orb.
If you can’t do either then it sounds like a UI problem.
If a player dies and there is another player alive, the living player can use a Sanity Restoration Orb or give half of their remaining Sanity to revive the dead player with the amount they gave.
So how exactly do you do that???

It’s completely broken. I made a post, never got addressed. They just don’t seem to care. Also all the players talking about it just clearly haven’t ran visions with people as they don’t seem to understand, the functionality is straight up, broken, not available in game.

I’ve actually found the visions to be much much easier solo as the mob hp scales up quite high when you add even just one person

When I did them with a friend who had not unlocked everything and didn’t even have the base sanity resist yet so was dropping dead every 5 seconds, I also realized there does not appear to be a way to do a normal res. I could not click on anything and did not see any element of the UI that would let me res them outside of dropping an orb. I also couldn’t cast res on them as a healer.
I also thought it was odd that it didn’t just use my hourglass talents since I had started it, but I guess that might be intended.

Okay, again, the whole point is that you cannot res people with the standard mechanic right now. Even if you think it’s easier etc. The factual point stands that right clicking on someone to res them is broken. This makes it very difficult to do high mask clears with many people in the group.
Blizzard should either just say “hey, it’s disabled and we’re not enabling it” rather than leaving it in it’s again, completely broken and does not function state. Ideally they would say “hey this is a known issue” but given that we’re at the end of week 2, I suspect this was an intentional change and they just don’t care cause it’s easier to do solo and don’t want the negative pushback. But that’s just speculation on my part, the fact remains it is completely broken right now.

Good lord, FINALLY. Someone who ACTUALLY read the damn OP. 80% of this thread have been people basically troubleshooting by asking if the setting was turned to wumbo. Reading comprehension is at an all time low or something, I swear. Thanks for the confirmation, and go figure Blizz didn’t do squat about it. Why do I bother playing this game anymore.

Same thing happened with my post. Everybody kept going “it’s not available yet” cause synchronized mind wasn’t out and I had to explain over and over that’s not what I was talking about. They still didn’t understand.
