it works for like few hours and then next day it doesn’t again.
Same experience here, and I don’t use AddOns or have anything that should be interfering.
lol…as if this works. Let me just fly to Ruby Life every time i log into the game so I don’t get auto-transmogged into terrible-looking gear.

Why are you sorry - that the in-game fix is bugged? Blizzard obviously intended us to have a way to turn it off…but their inability to do so is the issue, not you directing someone at the in-game fix. It’s a bug…add it to the pile of so many others that the $61B company can’t handle.

I’ve talked to him several times, it’s not working. If I fish, I’m holding the pole till I kill something. If I pick a flower, there’s that ugly hat, same with alchemy.
I’ve just started ignoring it as it’s really not game breaking, but annoying? Youbetcha
Had the stupid mining helmet continuously show up on my pally even when I wasn’t mining and continue to show even after clicking off the buff. I straight up unequipped the helmet from the mining journal and it still showed until I logged out and back in.
