How do you play L/S/D

Feels like we get ran over by dk/dh and demo/dk. Should we only be sending cds when they commit theirs so they don’t run and los?

should ele run lasso or sky fury?

Just don’t :stuck_out_tongue:

what form of l/s/d

the rot version prob not the best rn with all of the dks/dhs out there

Demo/ele/rdruid

first thing to remember is “every comp starts with damage”

your healer usually has a defensive position and the ele/warlock rotate who’s pushed out based on who’s taking damage

aim to never stack at any point

play to do as much damage as you possibly can and play to stop as much damage as you possibly can through fear/hex/clone/snares

work on using communication to rotate stops to protect your healer

ele should probably play lasso? I havent played the comp recently so idk if skyfury/static field are better than it or not

a go can be

axe toss off dps
fear healer
lasso kill target

just as an example

To be honest op, the two comps you listed are the hardest teams to play into as Lock/Ele, regardless of healer.

Herocleave (DH/DK) is nigh unkillable for casters if they run the right setup. The DH takes ~20% less spell damage always and the DK will probably run spellwarden and maybe the AMS lego. I’m going to be blunt: you should never beat this comp unless they’re completely braindead or playing at 500 ms. Not trying to be a debbie downer, but it’s the hardest matchup you have. The healer is the only consistently viable kill target.

DK/Demo is very tough, but you can kill the Demo. Ele should be dotting up the Demo’s main pet. The challenge is ensuring you can get enough pressure out to force the Demo to hard summon a pet. If you can do that, you’re in a good spot damage wise, then it’s just throwing some quick cc on healer.

Just kill them all at once because rot dampeners > melee zug brains.

but DKs are going to be your problem child no matter what.

Wait for WOTLK Classic to come out, and play the comp there instead.
