How do you “Play Hearthstone!” quest? There is no buttons nor any other indicator on what to do next.
If you abandon the quest, and accept it again, it gives you another hearthstone pack but it is empty and you can’t do anything.
Talk to the shady dealer, buy a pack of cards for like 20 silver then walk over and click them near the boards.
Alternatively just use the board and play with another player.

I bought a pack and when I try and open it, it says, 'You cannot do that yet."
I bought another pack and it’s the same.
Now it says “Item Locked” when I try and buy a third. It still says “You cannot do that yet.” when I try and use the item.

I suppose the hearthstone board toy we got wont work?
I’m standing next to the board and there is no button to click, nor is there any popup that says, “Play Hearthstone!”
I can’t create a ticket about this quest because the submit button is disabled when using the in-game support method about a bugged quest.

I figured it out. If you click on the cards immediately then you’re stuck.
You’re gated by sitting down on a chair at the hearthstone table in the center, but its limited to only 2 players at a time, and if the players decide to be idle and never actually click a button then you’re stuck waiting for another player to finish.
It seems this quest is highly trollable by limiting the number of people who can complete it.

Go to the Shady Dealer, purchase a pack of 5 cards. Go to the Hearthstone Table and use each card, short CD between uses, this will give you credit for the quest.
Edit: You do not need to sit at the table, just be next to it.
or, like, install the game on the Bnet app, play, delete…etc
you just need to stand near one of the tables

It’s a stool. Click on it. If there are people sitting at said table, to go shady dealer, buy wild cards, throw them down on the table while others are playing.
The pack of cards is for while you’re sitting at the table. If people are at the table, you cannot click on the stool to sit in it and “play” the game to use the pack of cards.
i wish i could share a pic here because you cant click on the “stool” theres nobody playing and whenever i click on the pack of cards it says i cant do that.
Did you accept the original quest and open that pack?
i did. I found out what i was doing wrong. The “table” i was at was where the questgiver is on the seat of the aspects, and the “stool” i was looking at was the barrel. The actual table you play cards at is BEHIND that, in the center. Once i saw that table with 2 chairs i went and completed the quest.

So this quest is so stupid, the deck the quest giver gave you does nothing. You literally buy the deck from the shady dealer gnome standing on a ledge on the bridge, then go over and syand next to the hearthstone table in the center ring, you dont have to sit down and play. Click the cards in your bag and you will play them on the table, even if people are playing. Quest complete.
The wild cards cast a spell into a nearby hearthstone game.
In order to do that, there needs to be a nearby hearthstone game.

Not the most intuitive of items/quests … you sort of need to know how it works to see how it works.
