I mean we log in, can queue up for Arenas, Raids, M+, LFR, numerous types of content, can farm old content, etc.
I mean yeah i’m not saying Retail is amazing, I have my criticism for it but i’d be a hater if I said it didn’t have a lot of options on things to do.

Wait for your gold seller to mail you so you can GDKP gear that will get replaced in 8 months when Cata drops? It’s not like PvP is thriving, or you have really anything else to do besides AFK around because no progress you make truly matters.

The reason you can’t understand why retail is trash and why classic is better is evidenced by your lack of social interaction skills evident in your entire post history in this thread.
Classic is social and an actual MMORPG which requires social interaction and social interaction is a LARGE aspect of the game and is a key trait in it’s entire design philosophy.
In retail you can be a clueless zoomer with zero social interaction skills and play the game without interacting with hardly anyone. This is why you think it’s better. It fits your personality but it’s objectively not even an MMORPG and is a worse game because it lacks social interaction mostly of any kind.

I don’t know why you’re bringing up gdkp’s when you can literally buy anything you want with the wow token in your version of the game what’s the difference?
Except it’s illegal here even though blizzard doesn’t really do anything about buying gold but that’s more on blizzard than us

Is buying gold what they consider social interactions these days? Pretty sure half of Classic is just bots lmao, I don’t think anyone is really doing any sort of interacting.
Yeah but buying gold to get ahead is the same as Classic, it doesn’t mean anything.
But in Classic’s case it’s different because virtually nothing you do matters, once Cata hits everything you did in Wrath becomes dead content.
On Retail every new xpac makes the old xpac stuff that much more valuable because it’s Blizzard’s primary focus and they have to carry it over.
You can literally buy gold in retail LUL. And do it legally.

Japan Classic had WoW token, i’m thinking before ICC hits USA Classic will also have it.

Classic era doesn’t have it and never will. Classic FRESH will never have it either.

it’s the same thing retail players have guilds and dick around in discord for raid night, vanilla had some nice social interactions like building a team for dungeons or all waiting for a head to drop or elite group quests but those days are done people don’t want to keep playing it forever even back when it was classic!vanilla 90% of players were just raid logging and now in WOTLK people want RDF.

It’s not the same thing. The entire game of classic is completley different as far as social interaction.
This is why you are clueless and an OBVIOUS retail player.
Classic (especially vanilla) has WAY more social interaction BY DESIGN than retail. Retail has stripped most of this away over the years.
It started with WOTLK and has gotten abysmal by the current expansion.

yes it is. i can see why it has different designs like group quests but most people stopped interacting with those systems by the time BWL came out, when 90% of the playerbase are raid logging it absolutely is just like retail. their social interactions are just hanging out in discord lobbies

Why wouldn’t they add it? They added boosts, they added name change/race change, bunch of store options.
Next will be Classic store mounts, which is already a thing in some package deals.

If they’re testing it overseas, there’s a 100% chance it’s about to be here real soon.
that’s what most people do and there’s nothing wrong with that but it is getting boring for me, which is why doing dragonflight free trial this weekend was so much fun I am starved for more stuff to do in WOW.
The only reason they added it overseas is because they lost their player base in one of the countries and now that country primarily plays in the place where they added the token.
