How do YOU move?

Just curious what keys everyone uses for movement.

I use qwe myself, but I’ve heard some people move with the mouse. I tried, and absolutely could not grasp it.

So how do YOU move?

Usually with both the mouse buttons pressed down and steering with it/strafing with the keys. Sometimes I’ll do a mix of both holding W down and steering with the mouse if I’m doing PVP.

Or just autorunning and spamming jump. That works too.

I use my mouse. I can’t play games where I have to use the keyboard to move,it feels weird to me.

How do you do it?

I tried binding strafe left/right to the side buttons and using the two normal buttons for forward, but I just cannot wrap my head around it :frowning:

I kind of want it to work because I think it would let me have more keybinds

Point to click my friend. It saves my old fingers from being sore. During raid I somerimes do use wsad to move.
I did rebind ad to strafe!

I utilize some different methods of movement. When I’m in combat, I press down on both sides of the mouse. Sometimes I use the arrow keys. If I am making a long trip on foot or mount or whatever, I press Num Lock for the auto run thingy.

All on the mouse. Assign auto run to mouse wheel button, steer with right mouse click, and 12-key thumbpad. 10 is strafe left, 11 is backpeddle, and 12 is strafe right.

I’m a button clicker, so by nessecity I have to move and turn with the keyboard.

WASD, QE are strafe l/r, rebound F to autorun, and use my mouse for quick turning…so guess I kinda do everything haha

( most of my healing is through vuhdo and 1-= for utility etc so it frees up keyboard a lot for me and reduces the need to move my hand unless im typing in chat lol. I rebound “r” to #7 and “t” to #8 so i dont need to move my hand movement hand much away from cntrl,shift,alt for vuhdo. )

It’s a good set up for me, reduces the need to memorize or look for keybinds, no hands need to move, both hands work together to move/heal and it’s fast enough for mechanics.

I use a steering wheel controller for turning my camera left and right, the gear to look up and down, a foot pedal to move forward, and a guitar hero controller for my abilities on the action bar.

I hold down both mouse buttons.

I keep my 5th mouse button bound to autorun, then just do that…right click held down. Or the WASD/mouse combo. Q and E rebound, no strafing for me without a mouse.

I use a trackball as a mouse, so it’s a combo of that and the arrow keys, and I’m a clicker, always have been and always will be, lol

Mouse to turn/walk forward and jump, q and e to strafe. wasd has always felt weird to me, and w to move forward really bothers me for some reason.

I move with my mouse for short distances and regular adjustment, wheel for zoom. I use my thumb on the keyboard for middle distances, strafe, and quick spin (my keys are bound so my thumb is situational abilities). I have autorun and jump bound to the side buttons on my mouse.
