I could use a hammock. Might look into that myself.
It’s not for now.
It’s like anything else. It’s for the future if the game ever is popular again.

Any reputable source will tell you, that to generate any kind of modest income from xmog, you need to have around TWO THOUSAND listings at any given time. In general terms, xmog is a total loser … you’re just waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting… for that rare moment when an item *FINALLY hits. But for the average player, it’s a waste of time.
If you want cash in a RELIABLE manner: do Dragon racing, on as many alts as you can.
It’s $8,000 per week, per alt. And it takes about 15mins. While you’re flying from one to the other, see if there’s a Photog WQ worth gold along the way. They’re super easy, also don’t require combat, and are a fun change of pace.

Honestly nothing nets me more than buying tokens. I spend a ridiculous amount of gold on my pet collection over the years.
I sold a token when D4 came out and I’m probably set until the next expansikn
I mostly sell dracothyst and sell boe greens from the raid. Some of them go for a few thousand each.
I craft dracothyst across 10 characters. If you have transmuting maxed and resourcefulness almost maxed, you can do decent even just on one character.
You only need alchemy to 25 (I think) to craft dracothyst
How do you even make money on Dracothyst without just getting lucky on resourcefulness procs?
Unlock Ice Fishing
Icefin Tuna is a license to print gold.
As a fellow wildlife photographer , I wholeheartedly support this
My 3 ways to make gold:
Jewelcrafting - prospect cheap ore for silken dust, make sure to buy phial of quick hands for faster processing. Time consuming, but you can do it while you afk in queue.
Fields of Ferocity - go to the plains and do this quest once, return every day for a free 1,300 - 1,600 gold. Works great for players with alts.
Multicraft - when the market for glowspores is about neutral to the price of dracothyst (300 spores @ 6000g, dracothyst @ 6500g) I do crafting orders for dracothyst. Put them up for 200g with ALL mats and 200g people generally fulfill them to get their weekly done. Worst case scenario you sell the dracothyst for the same price you bought the mats, best case is that crafter hits a multi craft and now your 6000g investment is worth 13,000 - 19,000g.
I haven’t done a world quest in months and am always sitting on 500,000 - 1,000,000 gold. Whenever I get low I just do these things and recover about 75,000g a day.
This is what I’ve been doing.
Replace jewelcracfting with the rep unlock fish species(rimefin tuna from ice, magma thrashers from lava, and the one from the high altitude pools)
I try to get around to all the WQ, but sometimes I don’t have the playttime to get them.
Doing this I usually have around 1,000,000g. Recently I decided to start buying tokens with my gold so I can convert them to game time or bnet cash later.
I do the dragon race WQ, although not so driven to make sure I do every one every week.
I do the soup weekly on the off chance a flavor packet drops (I’ve gotten 3 so far and I’ve missed MANY weeks of trying) as they sell for 80k-90k. I don’t do the whole 15 minutes I just do the weekly quest which is 5 actions (and clicking Yes Chef! Counts as one) so I can get my 3 70s so though the same soup event.
I use my tailoring, i make between 50k-100k just sitting in valdrakken for an hour or so doing nothing, usually just afk and look over every now and then at trade chat
That is NOTTTTT a lot of gold.
Personally… if I really need gold at this point (cuz I need more little pets lol) I would just buy a token. Given my hourly rate of pay versus the amount of time it would take to earn the same amount of gold well, ya.
Yes, I am a lazy little gnome at times.

Exploit profession bugs early and often - Blizzard will let you keep all your illgotten gains with no penalty and you can dominate the market from there.
Who is going to grab Cocoa Powder?
Interesting, but WOW tokens for me have completely removed the incentive to make gold. Why spend hours grinding when I can just pay $27 AUD - I get paid many times that in overtime for an hour of IRL work so its way more time efficient for me to just pay for gold.
