Honeycrisp for just eating.
Transparents for sauce and pie.

But really any fresh apple is tasty. I live in an area with several orchards and plan to go get some right off the tree this weekend.

never heard of those before!

Definitely Granny Smith. I love sour or tart foods.

i like the sweet yellow ones and the green ones that are a bit stretched vertically with some “bumps” on the bottom.

no idea what they are.

I prefer Honeycrisp for direct eating. However, Granny Smith are great for pies, putting in winter vegetable casseroles, and other cooked dishes.

I love most apples, we had a Cox apple orchard behind us growing up in the UK, we would constantly steal them, I was sick so many times.

I love apple pie too, sadly Americans like to butcher them with cinnamon!

You can’t buy an apple pie that doesn’t taste like cinnamon here.

I could bake my own but that requires effort, you know how that goes. :apple:

A big ole honeycrisp

Chenango Strawberry

Not a huge apple fan but if I eat them, I prefer Honeycrisp (I believe it is called).
Now add them to some Sangria w/some Oranges - yea I’m all in!!

Truth be told, I prefer pears over apples.

Are they like the Invisible mount?

I should stop by the apple store.

I like a Granny Smith, myself; sour, bit of a snap to it.

Kiku - A sweeter Fuji but hard to find
Fuji - What I buy instead

My mom’s allergic, but thanks to her, I’m now hip to baked cinnamon apple slices.

She can eat them baked, and she loves apples. No allergies ain’t gonna stop her.

I developed a mild banana allergy in the last two years. It tingles slightly in my mouth when I eat one, lol. But nothing more than that, they’re still “safe” for me.

I love apples though, in all their forms. Pink Lady, Granny Smith, Fuji, Red Delicious, Honeycrisp. Etc.
