How do you like playing a rogue in BFA?

I’m still leveling mine but I’ve had a lot of fun with this class. I hope It’s just as much at level 120.

Eh. I’ve played rogue since day one and this expansion has had me heavily considering rerolling. The class is fun, it does decent damage, fantastic for 1v1, great for m+ and raiding. My issue with it rests more on for PvP which basically entails other classes being able to do what you do with less set up and more often. These classes also have more mobility for some reason.

I think rogues should have more mobility, just because that really makes sense within the class fantasy.

Other classes might be able to do what we do like you say, but god for some reason being a rogue is so fun to me. There’s so much potential to be incredibly frustrating.

I’m still leveling up obviously, but I’m having fun thus far. I keep bouncing between all three specs to try and learn them all. I’m really liking assassination and outlaw. Subtlety is alright to me, just not as fun as the other two. I’m not a fan of the rng from skull and bones so I’m thinking about picking up slice and dice once I’m high enough to choose that talent.

Overall it’s been a fun experience. I’m not usually a rogue/thief/bandit type of fantasy player in many different games. So I kinda went into the rogue feeling like I wasn’t going to like it. But I actually found that it can be pretty fun and enjoyable.

Fun just not as fun as it used to be. stopped gearing and will probably only hop on it to side with my queen when I can in case this is all 1 giant vote by fans

I only have two 120 (and an allie), my main and a rogue. So I guess that should say something.

She’s been in my eyes a tricksy little powerhouse—granted had to get a little bit of gear first—easy to solo a lot of stuff. Absolute aggro hog though which is weird. Of course grain of salt all this, I play one of the lowest damage output spec in the game so a decent sneeze might impress me… :neutral_face:

Rogues are great fun. I just leveled my Horde one to 120 and geared to 324 then noticed Darkshore is like 335 now. Blargh.

I think rogues have had broken damage since the dawn of time while having good defensives and stealth. The only reason Blizzard hasn’t nerf batted them is that they are hard to find.

Meh it’s fine. Assassination is fun when you can get ruptures rolling especially in pvp if no one is focusing you and your just putting a bunch of bleeds on 5+ people. Sub is meh. Don’t rly like it I actually find it worse than legion sub. Outlaw is fine other than the fact it has some much rng with RTB. If they removed roll the bones and tuned their damage so they don’t need rtb to do actual dmg, outlaw would be even better than it already is honestly. It would be pretty much almost perfect.

Full disclosure: I like all the classes.

I have 5 rogues at 120, 3 combat 1 sub 1 mut all the specs are fun in their own way.
