How do you KEEP Roll the Bones Buffs Up!

I’m trying to get back playing my Rogue > after many Years.

Roll the Bones Buffs:
Every video about it on the internet says to Keep up the Good buffs and don’t reroll if you have them.

Also Every video on the internet:
Says nothing how to actually keep the buffs.

I feel I’m missing something super basic …

hum…, you may have read an older outlaw post. last expansion rtb worked as a finisher and you could reroll it as soon as you got combo points. now it’s a 45sec cooldown so your kind stuck with what you have until it comes off cd. it can be off cd before to current buffs wear off. maybe that’s what they mean.

Get a weakaura or adjust your ui so you can see which ones are rolling. If you have a good one like broadsides running, or like 5 buffs (hahaha like that ever happens) don’t reroll as soon as you are able to hit the button. Wait till it falls off.

But the most important thing to this strategy is to have a way to easily track them.

restless blades passive reduces rtb cd. This means unless you have major downtime, rtb cd is essentially shorter than the buff duration, which allows you to reroll before your bad buff duration is up and fish for good buffs. If you uave good buffs, you obviously let it expire before a reroll

Lets also not forget about Count the Odds (ambush and dispatch have a 10%^ chance to grant you RTB you do not already have for 5 secs). Or Sleight of Hand (7%^ chance to grant additional matches). This helps a lot with stacking buffs.

Thank you everyone - what you said is what I was thinking but I thought I still maybe missing something. I have a decent WA for RTB ~

Its a 45 Second CD and you get what you get = Random DPS.

So basically your stuck playing to the RTB Buffs you get if you get the right ones. You Keep the right ones until they fall off. if not you RTB as soon as you can and pray for a good buff.
