How do you guys feel about finally defeating The Jailer, the secret enemy going back to 2002?

A villian 19 years in the making, that none knew about.

WC3 is finally coming to an end.

Who the hell is Steve?

That was my feeling.

I’m confident that they came up with the Jailer only a few years ago.

who dat

Indifferent.
He was shoe-horned in to make it all feel bigger but with this kinda writing, I have no faith in 10.0 and this team.

it’s really funny that they are acting like TBC and WotLK didn’t already tie up all the loose ends from WC3 and that they didn’t just pull the Jailer out of their *** at the last minute

Zovval is a massive disappointment as an antagonist.

We are reaching Michael Bay levels of storytelling.

WoW Writers: I watched Infinity War and I have a great idea for the next WoW villain

The Jailer isn’t actually any worse than most WoW villains, it’s just that they went back to the WotLK thing of making almost all of the content about hyping up the main bad guy and it’s really boring this time because it feels like it was all pulled out of someone’s butt. Also WotLK had interesting side content that didn’t have much to do directly with the Lich King but in SL everything’s about the Jailer, the Jailer, the Jailer

I’ll be unsubbing after jailer aotc is acheived.

This expansion has been awful.

I wonder if they are just cutting his story short due to how poorly received he has been.

Has there ever been an xpac with such a Joe Nobody and his mystical MacGuffin for a final boss?

They scrapped Grom being the final boss of WoD and replaced him with the Legion after WoD bombed.

I am pretty sure for SL we were going to get one more tier but the delays, legal issues, and the negative reception caused them to scrap that raid and just use the ideas they already had for him for this one

Yeah maybe. You are probably right.

But I feel like no one really cares if Jailor dies or not, because he sort of came out of left field… and we still don’t know what his Bond villain plan is.

I’m not going to kill Sylvanas, nor the “heroes”. I won’t even MC them right now, despite the fact that I can “easily” (presumably why we need Sylvanas and Anduin). Instead I’m going to leave them here and assume they can’t follow me into Narnia because only I have the MacGuffin.

I feel apathy for the story of this expansion.

I don’t care about this discount Thanos, I don’t care about his motivations or his master plan, because of the lack of build up, lack of character development, and all round lack of cohesive story telling.

However I also feel frustration at Danuser for ruining so much of the good lore in this franchise just so he can try and push his pet character (discount Thanos), “MuH QuEeN”, and try to tie a story together in some of the worst fan-fic ways imaginable. (A story that really didn’t need tying together, especially not like this)

Whoever let Danuser put this together should be ashamed, and I sincerely hope they find a vastly more competent writer(s) in the future

Thanos has a bro. Maybe the jailer has an evil cousin, or something

All stories have to end eventually. This one has passed up its freshness date a while back. I’m glad they are closing it out and am curious where they go after that.

dont really care, I’m just subbed to watch the dumpster fire

I hated how they did N’zoth dirty by making him a patch boss. This is a similar situation only this time I am relieved by it. Hands down the most boring and forced villain to ever exist (jailer).

And while were at it, lets all pretend the WC3 lore undoing never happened.
