How do you get through the slog of leveling your 16th toon?

Oh my gosh, I am so SICK of leveling allied races, but I must have these beautiful armor sets. Please, help me find a way to make grinding 120 levels less mind numbingly boring. Right now I’m averaging 1 day and 10 hours to level and I just started a new one QQ.

Audiobooks and Podcasts.

And questing in zones I haven’t seen for a long time.

I can barely keep up with 1 toon.

I just got mechagnome zandalari and Vulpera all done in just 3 days! Loving the heritage sets for these 3 races only. I’m finally done. Good luck (:

Allied Races? I haven’t even got the armour set for my Tauren yet and I need TB rep, how do you even get TB rep?

I want druid, I make druid.

I mean… most people just stop when they’re not enjoying it any more.

If you’re just doing it for the heritage armor… for a start, don’t do 120 levels. Just do the Death Knight trick.

If that doesn’t appeal (I can certainly see that), make a Druid and just fly around picking flowers for 120 levels. It’s faster than playing normally anyway.

If that’s still too slow, multibox and do more than one at a time.

You got problems? I got solutions!

Running dungeons is my favorite part of wow so I queue up and head to my favorite zones for questing.

Music, friends.

It’s easier together!

Oh and creating an identity for your character helps. Like it’s going on a long a specific route for a reason

16 baby numbers lol

  • Do the Tauren quests. There’s a bunch in Mulgore and some of the ones in the Barrens might count as well. If there’s a Tauren handing it out, it probably counts, but you can check Wowhead to be sure.
  • You can also run the Argent Tournament. That will give you rep directly and you’ll get points you can use to buy more rep tokens as well.
  • You can also get tabards for the core races and then solo old dungeons for rep.

My fiancé a friend and I leveled 8 toons each in two weeks, stopping to play animal crossing and for food/showers etc. We average 15 hours /played per toon. Dungeon through 80, hyjal to 86, alternate between mist and cata dungeons to ensure quests til 91, unlock draenor and you should be 93-94, bonus obj til 102, legion questing (no dungeons from here on) til 111, BfA til 120.

If you can get someone to party sync with you, party sync at 111 with a level 91-100 (make sure they are lead) and do draenor bonus objectives again. The full set gives you 5-6 levels.

I guess you can do a combo of questing battlegrounds and dungeons so you aren’t doing the same thing the whole way. I level mostly in battlegrounds with the dmf and gurubashi arena trinkets.

You only need to get to 110 for the Heritage Armors .

I’ve been doing my allied races and stopping them at 110 if I use them after I hit 110 it is to farm old raids .

I feel your pain OP. Right now I’m farming rep for the Zandalari. I really hate Zuldazar questlines and it is just killing me trying to get to exalted. I just dinged revered, so who knows how much longer. I’m only doing this for the mounts and opening up for the allied race. I can’t imagine starting from lvl 20 again, Maybe in SL

Jeez Op.

I just talked myself out of leveling these alts:

-vulpera
-mechagnome
-HMT
-blueberry elf
-KT

And I’m perilously close to dropping my project to level a nightborne and a zandalari.

How do I do it? Easy. Ask yourself: am I going to play this alt and would I ever get to see this heritage armor?

The answer was meh for most. I might still do zandalari, I just don’t dig their heritage armor that much.

Soooooo much time on my plate not leveling alts.

Don’t.

Wait till Shadowlands when it’s only 50-60 levels and 60-70% faster.

Buy the tabard and run a TBC or Cata dungeon with lots of trash and be exalted within two hours.

Pet battle power leveling. It can be done mostly afk, too.
