I have totally configured the new UI to my liking, resized the icons to 80%, placed the windows where i like them then when i save i clicked character specific name, saved and all was well…until i log off and when I log that toon back it its all reset back to default and I have to do it all over again.
give them a unique (to you) title and you can even re-use them across your toons. (see haters? I actually AM trying, it just sucks)
Mostly. There is (or was, at least) a bug where they’d get reset. The builds I made on Tuesday were all gone when I logged in yesterday. The new one I made seems to have survived the night though so it might be fixed.
You have to save it and give it a name. I found I had to share it so it would be on my clipboard, then import it on the next character in order to use it on all characters. I only had to import it once.
I had this happen too. I had to create a new profile, name it and save it FIRST, then start moving stuff around and save it again. It finally stuck after that, and I could just select it from the dropdown on my other characters with no problem.
Action targeting and interact key on the other hand, those always reset to OFF every time I log out and I can’t seem to figure out why other than just assuming it’s a bug and will be fixed later.
I have made a default setup to use across all of my toons. It worked fin on the first one, but when I loaded it on another toon only the default action bars and such showed up, but they were in the place I positioned them. I went to the different places turn on the other items (like an additional bar) and they appear in the correct location. Everything stays after that.
Okay, how do you get it to show on other characters? Because it saved on my main, and two alts, but not the rest. Which is weird, because I literally repeated the same steps that saved it on my main.

edit mode > dropdown layout > share > copy to clipboard
and on next toon do edit mode > dropdown layout > import > ctrl+v
