Is it the same as last in DF? You used to be able to purchase a set called draconic from AH, then just by rated or conquest get armor/weps/trinkets. Is that still the case?

Yes same system as DF, crafted sets, PvP embellishments, honor sets and champion sets.
is there a set you can buy at auction house as a starter set? i think the one i got in DF was green
Algari Competitor’s [whatever] can be bought off the AH as greens. You can also comission it at higher item levels using pvp crafting materials known as heraldries, you can spend honor on some for honor vendor level, and conquest for conquest vendor level.

Uhhh… Conquest is 639, I don’t recall what the other items are though.

This all could have been solved by going to the AH and spending 14 seconds looking at an item.
Id love to be making the Algari pieces but sadly the patterns are pricy on the AH and I dont do PvP to get the currency to buy them from vendors.

Detail this expansion is that random crafters can’t craft the gear, as it requires a PvP only component. You could get that component and put them in a crafting order, but it basically means that the crafter has to also be doing PvP.
During DF, the plans were a PvP drop, or something, and available on the AH for anyone. The plans work like that in WW too. But PvE crafters simply can’t make the gear themselves without the added reagent.
Honor gear is 558, conquest gear is 597, and bloody token gear is 593 as purchased from the vendor in Dornogal. They scale up in PvP.
How does me pointing out a very efficient way to answer one’s question mean I’m miserable? I’m just genuinely curious, if you went to the ah or work order and just clicked like “plate helm” you would see the pvp item. You then could realize it’s algari competitor. Type that in search window and boom every piece, pvp ilvl. All questions answered.
Like why not ask us what the weather is like in your town? When you could just look out a window.
True, however, the reagent used for the BoE version is sellable on the AH, for anywhere from 1-5 gold depending on the day. The cost of buying the patterns seems to be the bigger impasse from what I see.

Yeah, it took me a bit to figure out today as I didn’t do it in DF. You can use the crafting table and heraldy items to get stuff crafted, you can purchase honor or conquest gear and if you work world content in warmode you can be another gear set slightly below conquest with bloody coins.

Do world quests with warmode on for 100 bloody tokens each world quest. can buy 593 gear that goes to 636 in instanced pvp. Then do bgs for honor or buy ah gear. Then you are high enough for rated solo.
Free weapons at 2500 conquest points. You get two free tokens.
