How do you get into a mythic dungeon

I was told the min lvl to start doing mythic was 460-470

I don’t raid and quest rewards seem to max out at 445 for me.

How do I close the gap from 445 to 470 ?

mythic dungeons don’t require that high an ilvl until you get to high end m+. the people who told you that were either talking about high end or mythic raiding. mythic dungeons can be done at a much lower ilvl. consider whatever ilvl heroic dungeon gear is as the starting point.

I have no friends that play wow. How does one start a mythic dungeon exactly?

if you know how to get to the lfr tool, there is a group finder you can use below that tab. it isn’t automatic like the dungeon finder. you either create groups or apply to groups. keep in mind each group is made by a person so the person that makes the group sets the bar to entry.

And the most important part is that you MUST go to the entrance of the dungeon in order to run it.

I would have liked to see a join button like they have for dungeons. Just add a min item lvl requirements to join the q.

mythic dungeons are meant to be actually challenging. lfr shows that unless content is extremely easy, a group of random people are unlikely to complete the content. that is why it isn’t in a que system.

You can start doing Mythic + before you even hit 445. I’ve done them as low as 420, but those were mostly a carry. At 445 you should easily be able to do a +2 or +3

Edit: I think when they said “Mythic” THEY might have thought you meant the current raid, whereas YOU might have been talking about Mythic dungeons.

This might have been a communication gap.

I think you set your dungeon difficulty to mythic and then walk in the entrance.
