I’ve been trying to get just 2 guild signatures offering 5k gold and can’t get anyone to sign. Tried General, Trade & Services chats and only response was from a realm that was unable to sign. Hydraxis/Terenas
Edit: Thanks for the help I was finally able to get the last 2 guild signatures once I offered 50k for about 15 minutes for one and then someone else took pity on me and signed for free.
you wont like my way…but I’ll ask the wife to be one sig…then pay for 3 more accounts for the month and sign it on alts.
I dont want to deal with players on something like this
As a side note…HEY BLIZ…since we can get around your goofy requirements for starting a personal guild anyway…how about just not requiring all those sigs in the first place?

I start by ‘Hey how are you doing?’ and just striking up a conversation with someone who is guildless - they’d want to experience some of the social aspect so alot of people will like it.
Then I’ll drop the signature partway through and what I want to do with the guild.
If it’s anything more than a bank guild, you’re going to want to attract folks, make it social, make it fun. because if you can’t get 4 folks to agree to help out, then that’s a major red flag against future success.
If it’s a bank guild? Just offer gold or say they can leave when it’s setup and done. Most folks just don’t want commitment.
It is a bank guild and I have been offering 5k gold and no one is interested. I can’t find anyone even playing on my server in any of the cities despite them being high pop. I just moved all my Horde characters to a new server only to have issues anytime I try to pull anything from my guild bank so just wanted to start over.
Hang out in starting zones may help
Gold’s a bit inflated at the moment due to bots and an influx of WQ steady streams of it, Horde wise, Wyrmcrest has the most people, but high realms are practically half empty. Most realms are really, I’d suggest scanning the zones and seeing where everyone is, then shouting for guild sigs, making it clear it’s a bank guild and that they can leave once it’s created.
LOL I already reactivated 2 old accounts just to get the first 2 signatures.
Edit: Ugh, no one in the starting zones for Orc or Troll and even 50k gold can’t get a reaction in Orgrimmar.
what I did was one month I fired up some extra accounts and that month we set up numerous personal guilds on a list of characters.
Personally I think its a ridiculous requirement.
Let me make my guild with ME alone…and then if I want to make it a public guild I can find some members.
Man when you figure out the secret, let me know. I’ve been trying adamantly to get my guild active again (GM basically let it die then made me an officer and said “Recruit if you want”) and it’s absolute crickets. I’ve tried starter zones, in the city, in the open world while doing WQ’s, even put us in guild finder and just zero response. It’s wild because back in the day you’d group up with some peeps, have some fun, make that connection and bam, become a solid group. Now its like players are afraid of guild commitment or just want to have their own personal guild bank.
I did the same thing. I already had 2 old accounts so I just created 2 more. The $60 for 1 month on 4 extra accounts to be able to create as many guilds as I want was so worth it. I will never deal with begging for guilds signatures again.

yep. I think I set up at least half dozen personal guilds then.
I cant stand the idea of having to rely on players anyway, certainly not the guild sig thing given youre just booting them back out anyway. Just too much work lol.
50k?!?! For signing a guild signature? Insanity. I wouldn’t pay more than 1,000 for that. Glad you got your sigs though.
yeah im not gonna pay $60 money for this. blizz needs to stop an let people make guilds without anyone else. we have so many dead guilds just chilling who cares.
Why don’t you try the guild recruitment forum? It’s very active, and much easier to recruit/join now with cross faction.
Another person that was begging with me was offering 20k and someone took it and then deleted the character immediately. Honestly with warbands being an option now just make guilds a flat fee to create and forget the signature requirements. I would much prefer paying 20k gold to create a guild or maybe even a $10-20 store charge to create one than this mess. Also if you allow cross realm guilds why not cross realm signatures.
You’re gonna laugh at me here, but I honestly never even thought of it. The Hydraxis-Terenas forum is DEAD, like there hasn’t been a single new post in there in probably 5 months now so between that and getting zero hits in guild finder I figured I was going to have to do it the old hard way. I’m going to give that forum a whirl!
