How do you get Glided crests?

Sorry if this has been answered before, and I know the standard answer is:

Mythic Nerub-ar Palace and Mythic Keystone dungeons from +9 and up

but I’ve never done any of those things, and I just noticed that 2 of my 3 level 80 characters have some gilded crests. I don’t recall how I got them, but clearly some way to obtain GCs exists outside of the official line.

False. It is the hidden chests that spawn when you activate a map that give 2.

M+ dungeons 9 or higher
Mythic raid bosses
Hidden chests in delves spawned by maps
Heroic Silken Court and Queen Ansurek

  • Crests now drop from Rated PvP activities. Weathered Harbinger Crests are now rewarded by Combatant 1 activities. Carved Harbinger Crests are now rewarded by Combatant 2, Challenger 1, and Challenger 2 activities. Runed Harbinger Crests are now rewarded by Rival 1 and Rival 2 activities. Gilded Harbinger Crests are now rewarded by Duelist and Elite activities.

  • You can also trade up to Nascent Gilded Harbinger Crest at 619 in all item slots.
