How do you get a [Unalloyed Bronze Ingot]

Calm down, I googled it. That’s why I’m making this thread. Here’s the most upvoted post on Wowhead for [Unalloyed Bronze Ingot].

This has a random chance (seems to be <10%) of being obtained from the 4th option of the Requisites Originator in Repertory Alcove, one of the Locus Shift treasure rooms. It is on a weekly reset cooldown, so you can only get 1 per week at most.

It’s also possible to obtain this in Olea Cache, so you can try your luck there if you have a lot of Cyphers of the First Ones to throw at the very slim chance of getting it.

The below only applies to getting it from Requisites Originator.

It’s likely you will need to unlock Protoform Synthesis (Mount) by completing The Final Song & A New Architect, in order to receive this reward, but this has not been confirmed yet.

To access this room, you first must:
Research Metrial Understanding and Aealic Understanding
Complete A Means to an End
Unlock the Repertory Alcove from the Repertory Alcove Arrangement at /way #1970 49.6 31.0, inside the Terrestial Cache cave, on the side of the left wall after you enter
Next gain at least 60 Cosmic Energy and enter Gravid Repose. Use the Locus Shift to take the Interior Locus to the Inner Chamber. You will now see a new Locus Shift (the Arcae Locus) upon the platform at the north-western side of the room, which you can use to travel to the Repertory Alcove.

It has a gossip dialog (in Metrial), with 6 dialog options, starting in Metrial and then each one in the next researchable cypher language (Cachial is not a language):
What do you require in this interval?

:left_speech_bubble: Access Auric Reserves
:left_speech_bubble: Retrieve Portable Anima Reservoir
:left_speech_bubble: Generate Encoded Specie
:left_speech_bubble: Restore Genesis Potencies
:left_speech_bubble: Blend Utility Components
:left_speech_bubble: Synthesis [sic] Ancillary Combat Implement
Selecting the 4th option, “Restore Genesis Potencies”, will give you 20-25x Genesis Mote and a chance for Unalloyed Bronze Ingot.

After selecting this option, all options are put on cooldown until the weekly reset, and instead it will respond with (in Metrial):
Request denied. User already accessed maximum resource limit for this interval.

:left_speech_bubble: Acknowledged. Return.
Applicable to PTR characters only: If you completed A Means to an End before All Ch 6 Symbols Found [DNT] was added, you will not have (Quest #65457) flagged, which is required to see the additional Arrangements. You will need to create a brand new character instead and complete A Means to an End again.

Credit to Matjz for discovering its location, and Neryssa for finding the Arrangement and help researching rewards.

Quest flag: (Quest #65532) (weekly reset).

That’s the instructions for how to get this thing. THEN, the second post (which I won’t post fully) is THIS:

To those trying to figure out what zealvurte’s post is trying to say…

There’s instructions FOR THE INSTRUCTIONS.

The THIRD comment starts with:

Man the instructions here are annoying…

I didn’t think I’d have to explain basics like this to adults, but this is not fun, it should be in the game, and if you can’t put it in the game, REMOVE IT.

I have 4 phases of my life, Blizzard. I go to work. I read detailed instructions there because they pay me and I need to eat. But that’s stressful, so in my WoW phase, I come here to turn my brain off because I spent all day reading documents from Utilities.

I also read while not at work, but it’s on subject I enjoy reading about. As you can imagine, it’s not about [Unalloyed Bronze Ingot]. In my 4th phase, I sleep.

So what I’m getting at here is this is a real fish up and you have to stop doing this immediately. I ground out 400 Genesis Motes for my [Protoform Synthesis: Bronze Helicid]. Now I need to read instructions for instructions. This patch sucks.

I thought stuff like this was the epitome of casual content that the game is supposedly lacking.

Technical Manuals?

more like difficult puzzles or whatever “that” was.

I enjoy puzzles, but the puzzles are all in-game, and don’t require more than 3 sentences to explain the objective for.

lol no? The secret finding Discord, and stuff like Baa’l, the hive mind, etc.

The Secret Finding Discord is not casual content.

doesn’t require raiding, so yes it is.

ITT: M+ 23 is casual content.

If we can just invent definitions, then “Secret Finder requires external applications so no it doesn’t.”

The pattern is a pick up.

The material drops from a weekly cache in the three different options (Patterns Cache, Olea Cache, or Dialogue Reward inside the Repository)

How was any of this difficult for you to grasp?

If you’re going to be snarky about things, you should at least confirm you have the correct information.

Wowhead says it only drops from Olea Manu/Olea Cache. Unless Wowhead is wrong.

Wowhead is a collection website, it goes of data collected by people, so where it states what it drops from isn’t always correct.

Great. Thanks for posting.

I miss read what you meant by the post, the intention wasn’t to be rude but rather the information provided in the comments of Wowhead is accurate on what you’re looking for, now that I understand what confused you, my bad.

All good. Happy gaming.

Which pattern? The snail? No, that comes from Patterns Within Patterns. The Ingot does not.

You pretty much need to be almost done with the ZM campaign to access that room to do the thing. Sucks cause I was hoping to throw the alt army at it. Got my ingot pretty fast though regardless.

But the way to get it is just:

  1. Farm Currency
  2. Buy Chests

Right? Or am I missing something?

I do that weekly, basically all you need to do is(just complete the damned campaign and then and research everything under the Sun):

  • gain 60 energy @49 29 coords, kill the adds with debuffs that are high… like 9-10 for easy energy
  • go to the cave named Terrestial Cache or somethingat around 49 31 coords
  • inside you have a teleporter, use it to go to something called Interior Locus (edited)
  • then inside that you go to the other side of the wall, another teleporter is there, select the Repertory Alcove location (edited)
  • here there is a console in the middle, select Restore Genesis Potencies, 4th option.
  • enjoy your 10% chance per week at getting the ingot

TL;DR Gain 60 energy by killing some debuffed adds and use teleporter in Terrestirial cave twice to locations named with RE, then get your ingot at the console from using 4th option, that starts with RE.

I had two toons doing the repository each week. My hunter got the ingot on his second week and another on his third week. My warrior didn’t get anything other than more motes

So thankfully I never had to send a third alt through the campaign to open the repository
