I know I am a bit late to be asking this. There is less then 4 days left in the season. But still. I just started doing serious pve this week. So any advantage I can get ill take. So my weapon is ilevel 677 and its crafted. But its supposed to be able to go up to 681. I am not quite sure how to get it up to ilevel 681. Let alone ilevel 684 pve gear.
Go to the vendor next to the enchanting trainer in Dornogal. Buy an Enchanted Gilded Crest and the other item below it that upgrades it 6 more ilevels. Go get a recraft using those two items.
Edit: if you already crafted it with the Enchanted Gilded Crest, you don’t need another.

You need to buy a gilded augment matrix for 30 gilded crests and add that to your crafted weapon, and you need to make sure the craft is R5.

M+ and do 10’s or higher
Raiding Heroic or mythic
Delves Get champion gear from 7’s and 8’s and and get hero gear from the vault as well as from a amap you can get each week that also drops heroic gear.
Then valor stone and crests to rank those up
oh and yeah, gilded crests and buy the upgrades from the vendor right next to the crafting order vendor.

Crafted can go up to 681 with the gilded crests and the augment matrix mentioned above. You also need gold rank mats and specify a max level craft from the crafter.
684 gear is maxed out myth track gear. You can get myth track gear from Mythic raids or from your weekly vault after completing an M+10 or higher. To reach 684 you need to max the myth piece out to 8/8

Thank you for the answers everyone. That provides the clarification I need. I hadn’t done serious pve since before overcharged delves came out, so I wan’t aware that +10s could now drop gear of that ilevel. At least I don’t remember them dropping prior. But this info should definitely help.
+10 M+, not delves.
Also +10 M+ doesnt drop the mythic gear, it gives you it in your vault. So you can only get 1 myth piece a week from M+

Alright. Thx for the clarification. Well season is nearly over so that route is gone. Its fine. I can at least get some crafted gear pretty high and participate some high keys.
In a few days you can get 681 from M0 dungeons when S3 kicks off, so wouldn’t stress about it too much.

A full set of 681 crafted gear with the maxxed out Delver belt.
There is literally zero point to doing this tbh. You’re wasting gold on a recraft and nobody is running keys unless their M+ score is 2k higher than yours, and you won’t get invited.
Dont listen to Gneusch, you can do higher mythics if you want to

I haven’t really been having much of problem getting invited to groups, but its probably cause I am a tank, with a decent ilevel and I usually apply to stuff within reasonable range of what I’ve accomplished.
Besides. I am not doing this rewards. I know I can’t get to 3k before the end of the season. Doing it just because I love a challenge! Same reason I did committed myself to beating the Underpin even though the mount doesn’t appeal too much to me. I like trying to push figure out and master the challenges. Its a good warmup anyway for the new content coming in Karesh.
Unless of course they have fun doing it. Crazy reason to play a video game, I know.
Floodgate and Priory are staying for next season, so those would be good ones to run this week for a little practice.

Yea. Definitely for fun. I managed to clear mechagon workshop +11 shortly ago. But it wasn’t timed.
