So I got a toon to 60
but now im totally locked out of dungeons
and says i need ilvl 125+
so how do I get this
still not done with campaign because its awful
is pvp grind my only hope???
im not even able to que for lower level…
Oh wait timewalk will prob be my best bet right?
Go to the AH, get a set of 168 crafted gear (or craft your own)
Instantly able to do heroic dungeons
Do a couple of BGs, get a few pieces
Look up what your best legendary is, and just buy the base item to bump up your item level
Then you can get into LFR
Make sure to do the TW dungeon event, even though the dungeons only drop normal dungeon gear.
How did you got to 60 and is still 125? Did you get the gear from the quests?
Completing your covenant campaign allows you to get a ton of primary slot gear upgraded to 197 through anima. Start there.

You can buy a 190 cheap base legendary piece from the AH and that may bump you up a little if you’re close to 125. It’s white quality so it won’t bind to you and you can sell it or use it on another character when you don’t need it anymore.

Doing your Covenant campaign will get you 9 pieces of 197 gear and a LFR quality weapon. It should take 1-2 weeks to get all the gear upgraded to 197.
If you’re that opposed to doing the campaign then PvP will be the best bet for getting gear, which you can get a full set of 197 gear just from farming honor.
After that you’re looking at crafted gear -> heroic dungeons - > mythic dungeons/LFR.
Buy at set of crafted 151 or 168 gear from the AH. That’ll get you well within the requirements for normal dungeons, and it’s not expensive. That’ll get you going.
TW is good, but it’s almost over for the week. Do it anyway, though, so you can get the weekly event reward.
You might not enjoy the campaign, but it will get you a set of gear that can (eventually) be upgraded to 197. It’s a good filler.
Time walking for fresh 60s until you gear to 155 ilvl

Heroic from 171-180

Mythic+ 187+ (Pugs)
Covenant gear can be increased to 197 ilvl now
WQ gear increases as you increase but current max ilvl is 184 I believe.
Just look out for World Quests that can drop gear, you can often find anything between 140-168 (Depends heavily on Renown)
I used my 130ish (475+) gear from bfa the entire way to level. Really not needed to change at all.
Timewalking is good, if you have time to do it for the rest of the day. I wouldn’t give up on the campaign as well, 197 gear comes from it!
Would look out for world quests that drop gear, and I would also do any side quests that you may have missed as they sometimes give gear at the end of it.

Timewalk is good for some quick gear. Otherwise, pvp bg spam or dungeon spam is a good way to get to 150s. After that, you can do heroics. Honestly though, it is best to finish your campaign. It gives you some higher pieces AND some raid finder weapons. If you are pretty decent at pvp, you can also just grind pvp and get some good pieces from conquest/upgrades eventually.
Looks like you were two minutes too slow.
Buy a fullset of 168 gear (rings optional cause they are pricey and having good secondaries on the 151s (which cost less than 1k). Then you buy a darkmoon deck.
Then you do the campaign and get your renown up to 22+. That way you unlock the 197 honor gear, and should be done with chapter 9 of the campaign (but honestly why stop at that level just push to weekly cap).
Then you realize you wasted your time farming for 197s when you could just saved a bit of money from your job to buy 4x226s (buy token then get gold, shorter duration depends on how much spare cash) and then pay for pvp boost to 1800 to unlock 220 gear you can upgrade to provided you have the base conquest items.
Seriously don’t waste your time gearing. Like these people say. We are heading into the 10th week of the expansion (8th since season start) and the tier/season could hypothetically end on March 16th (17th week and one week after we reach renown 40 on March 9th) or it can have 4-6 weeks extra beyond that.
Meaning we are either past the one third way point for this patch or rapidly approaching halfway.
So what do you want to do? Waste your time gearing and have no time to play the content without the worry of needing gear (remember we have season/tier gear resets so all your work now will be waste once the new patch drops and resets the ilvl floor above w/e you have!).

I have friends who carried me through mythic 0’s and fed me gear. I also did epic BG’s.
Figured an echo was best suited here.
Do the cov campaign, you should be able to get a nice chunk of your gear from there. I’m still using them on my DK (depending on spec). I also use AH crafted gear and Honor gear. Don’t forget to start doing your legendary quest as you can fill a slot with a min of 190 gear.
