How do you equip plunderlord set in plunderstorm?

i keep seeing other players running around in plunderstorm with the plunderlord armor on, how do i do that to?

i assumed if i bought the set maybe id get the chance to wear it in matches to but nah that didnt seem to work.

Can’t you customize your character, in the Plunderstorm mode before joining the lobby?
