Since you can’t trinket root beam I don’t know of anything I can do to prevent a double dps team with a boomkin from killing my teammate in the opener. Is it just on my teammate to be able to survive by himself for 8 seconds against a boomy + dps that are blowing all their CDs or is there something I can do about it?
Edit: I found out you can trinket root beam it was just my macro was bad. Do not use this macro as a human:
/cast will to survive
/cast sinful gladiator’s medallion
What class is your partner? If Paladin or Monk they can Freedom/Tiger’s Lust, DH’s can Reverse Magic, etc. You can even pre-freedom to counter their go.
I have either a warlock or a warrior to play 2s with and I’m a priest.
Warlock can Imp Dispel and Warrior can War Banner.

I might be wrong but im 99.9% sure you can definitely trinket root/beam. Unless they have some honor talent that somehow makes it untrinketable but idk.
You can trinket pretty much everything, so yeah, you can definitely trinket it. Then just walk out of the beam after trinketing the root.
I’ve not been able to trinket it every time I tried and I’ve got video footage of me not being able to.
go night fae and save blink for root beam
or play with a class that can clear your roots
Human trinket won’t work on it because it is only for stuns. Actual trinket will.

Are you sure? You can trinket the root, so you then just walk out of the beam after, but if you stand still you are still silenced.
I used the actual trinket. Gonna go watch the video to make sure.
Also what this DH said you have to make sure to move out of the beam. If you stay in it you’ll stay silenced.
Maybe it’s my macro I have a macro to use the human racial and use my trinket. But I’ve tried like 20 times and it never worked a single time. Also I deleted the video so now I look like an idiot lol.
u can definitely trinket the root part and then walk out
only things u cant trinket are kicks or blanket silence like SP silence, counterspell, hunter viper sting or w/e its called.

The Human racial doesn’t get you out of the root. It clears stuns only irrc.
im gonna guess that you’re trying to racial it which will not work.
Do not macro human racial and trinket together that makes no sense lol. It will just select whichever u have listed first in the macro and put them both on cd
