I find this really isn’t a problem for me. If they blink I can just harpoon to them or coordinated assault to charge them. Flanking strike as well for a small gap closer. We also got Aspect of the Hawk to turn our Raptor Strike/Mongoose Bite into a ranged attack.
Pack Leader Survival also heavily beefs up our Kill Command, which is a 50 yard range charge for our pet. So many options we have!
Or a shadow priest. Absolutely wreck mages 
You just arent gonna win against a good frost mage. Cant really speak to fire or arcane, but their tool kits are about the same as far as kiting and insta dmg. If you can get a hammy on a hunter and keep them slowed you might have a chance depending on what theyre speccd into. Ive only come across 1 warrior that just barely beat me but that was right after i killed some mage and didnt have all my cds. Theres a few classes you just arent gonna beat. I mainly play mage and hunter btw. Mages have a lot of trouble against mm hunters and shadow preists, even some good ele shams. On my hunter i have the worst time against rogues/dks, theyre a little tougher to kite.
Do they? I don’t think I’ve ever felt threatened by a shadow priest. They’re as easily devastated by interrupts as I am playing arcane.
I disagree. Interrupts dont matter. They get their dots on you without casting and if you interrupt their shadow spells they get to free cast healing spells. You must not encounter the same caliber of spriests that ive come across.

Yeah man this one was scuffed for the first half of it… no wonder I was hitting like a wet noodle. PvP gear not scaling up is a horrible bug LOL. But ggs overall! I had fun.
