I mostly play on a disc Priest but when I do I can’t seem to get a win. I haven’t played that much but thus far it’s been losses for me. I’m usually top heals but it doesn’t seem to matter. We still get railed. Is there a strategy or something I’m missing? Other than keeping people alive? Not sure what I’m doing wrong.
Pretty much the only way to get a bit more consistency is to find a great DPS or another healer to duo queue with… carrying 6 people is still easier than carrying 7.
Also try and get strategy discussion going at the start of the match if no one else is speaking up. They may or may not listen but at least there isn’t radio silence.

Jokes aside there is a channel in the blitz discord that has lots of information about what to do for each map as far as strategy goes. In general, priests are bad healers in blitz due to lack of mobility. Healing output gets you to a certain mmr eventually, but being in the right places and having good decision making makes the climb a lot easier. As far as winning as a healer , mistweaver and pres are the two best healers for it. Mistweaver outheals priests and outmobilities them, so does pres. Problem with pres is its harder to play and you’ll run out of mana. I have a very lengthy guide for playing mistweaver in the disc as well
