So as the years have gone most of us have a lot of alts and with hearing being easier and easier it has not hard to get out a lot of toons so I am curious how you decide which is your favorite toon?
Is it by look of the transmog?
Easy of play ?
Tank or healer for easier group find?
Do you switch every xpac based on numbers or can put up ?
Do you have the same main every xpac no matter what tuning does to it ?
What say you ? What carries the most wait ?
Sheeeyuucks. I’ll let you know when I figure it out. I swore up and down I was maining my Warlock; but now I’m on Shadow Priest timing. And before that, Ret Pally. Before that, DK. And so on et al.
I change my mains like wardrobes, in spite of my desire to do otherwise. The only thing that remains consistent, is flush Mages; and Goblin> Draenei > Elf. Got to have at least one of the three on deck at all times.
And transmog is definitely a factor. Those three look the best in gear, imho.

MW Monk in part because of transmog and greater part because I have loved hybrid classes in the past. Heck, back back back in the day of original talents, I would always swim again the FOMO and create the oddest combinations.
Prot pally in part because of the S2 transmog and part because they are hard to bring down and can manage crowds.
Faves have shifted a bit over the expansions. I think in BC I settled on the one-two of boomkin and frost DK. Now both of those are second tier and it is more fury warrior, prot pally and mw monk.
If I had to choose, Druid is everything. Stealth, take on elites solo, low downtime, escape when needed, and instant flight from stealth.

Ive done the most stuff on them, like the way they play. Shaman is just cool tbh.
I make my toons fight for me in an arena. The winner is my favourite.
I have my main that I will always consider the OG. Then I have a few alts for professions but 90% of my time is on my main. He’s been around since Vanilla and the first toon I got to 60.
