How do you best use Beacon of Light in PvP?

Since there’s a lot of focus fire and less incidental damage that would be copied to a potential beacon, it doesn’t seem much like it has any impact.

In BGs I tend to just Beacon myself if the opposing team doesn’t feel like focusing a healer.

I just beacon myself for random BGs even running faith, kind of be lazy with the low end pvp, maybe beacon flag carriers with your 2nd… guess if you want to you can play with Virtue if you are doing mass pvp and just want to throw out a lot of random AoE healing

RBGs I find it more impactful to give it to other healers as there is a lot of attempts to focus healers over anyone else, or at least yourself plus one healer

3v3 I also tend to beacon both partners and not myself, not many teams focus hpal but if you expect a swap then have to be ready to beacon yourself (though can still survive without changing beacons ever all game unless it gets down to 2v2)

I always beacon myself since i use martyr a lot, and faith i move around to either the target i’m divine favor holy lighting (to get HP) or the target i’m not wog’ing so that they benefit from my single target heal

Run the dual beacon talent in PvP. One on yourself one on someone who won’t blow up in a single CD that’s near you

I usually do myself since H paladin is a very common kill target.

If I run faith then I will place one on an arms warrior or other class with low self healing that often pushes in far. Beacon can heal from 60 yards out, thus you can still heal someone who pushes in far as long as they are not in LoS of you or whoever you heal.

This is only if you’re running saved by the light however, which is the only good pvp talent on the lvl 25 row.
