How do you beat MW?

We just split dps when we face a MW. I sit on the MW and whatever other dps I am queing with sits on a dps. MW struggles to heal themselves and a dps and eventually dies.

They have Life cocoon (Basically Paly Bubble)
LOL OMG... YOU DID NOT JUST COMPARE COCOON TO PALLY BUBBLE... HOLY RNGESUS.... I'm... SO tempted to flame... but I'll resist and simply say, that could not be further from the truth.

From my perspective MW are just casting 3 soothing mist and topping off their teammate from 5%.
Currently you can purge soothing mist and basically have a cooldownless interrupt on mistweavers. His partner at 5% life? Spam purge and he's either going to have to cocoon, or his partner is going to die unless he starts hardcasting.

They have the best mobility of any healer. They have the best BURST damage of any healer.
We're actually less mobile than ever before. In the past we've had iterations where we could cast while moving, where we had 3 chi torpedos, where port was a 25 second cd... where we had mistwalk (a 20 second cd port to our friends with a 40 yard range and 2 charges)... Currently I honestly think we're probably less mobile than R druids atm. 2 Chi torpedos and a 45 sec cd port, and we can't generally spec for freedom roll anymore.

By the way I know MW is probably more complex than from the outside looking in. Would love some advice from any Disc out there that know how to deal with them.
Have your rogue stun them, and kill them in the stun. That's where we're most susceptible, is being hard swap killed. Mind control our crane to make us just essentially waste our mana on it. If we blow the trinket on the rogue stun with vendetta, have him blind sap us and kill our partner during that time... Or even just stun us and try bursting us. Plenty of outplay potential.

MW is least mana efficient healer atm. Can always go the route of playing defensively and outlasting, then potentially swap when hes low on mana to avoid drinks.
This isn't exactly true. Mistweavers can hold their mana pretty well if they don't press the crane button, and surging's mana cost / high healing out put can keep someone up for a while even when we're oom. I'd say druids oom faster than we do, assuming you aren't craning without mana tea.

Super defensive
I feel like resto shamans should be complained about more

At what rating.... I love when the dps try to split onto me and my team. I will pull you behind a pillar and solo you.

It is absurdly easy to heal split dps as a MW

2100-2200. Hasn't failed once.
Look all you high strung MW need to relax. IMO seeing as how I instantly purge every bubble a Paly uses but cannot purge Caccoon its just as good or better.

@Fox usually easy going yet offended and going on a 6 paragraph rant when someone mentions your class on the forums.

??? I mean, I gave you the potential weaknesses and ways to exploit those weaknesses... If I was being defensive i'd have likely taken a ban for telling you what you could do with that "cocoon = pally bubble" comment.
The answer was already stated tho. Pull a hard swap to the MW when their trinket is down and kill them in a stun.

We are THE squishiest healer by a massive margin

Yea, cocoon is basically pally bubble except you can interrupt, CC, or just burst through it.

But it's basically a pally bubble.

Yeah you right, I can't instantly dispell caccoon.

I saw that. I think some people are assuming this is in 3s though I am asking for 2s.
MW is fairly easy to beat. Many different ways to handle it.I'll list the different ways of my opinion on how to deal with a MW.

1.)Make sure to (ALWAYS) dispel his yellow hot buff w/e it is called, and ignore the green. The yellow hot does huge healing over time. The green one is utter garbage and you don't really ever need to dispel is unless wanna be try hard and dispel that as well. However, you mainly only want to dispel his yellow hot my apologies for not knowing the name of the HoT ability, but you know what I mean I'm sure.

2.)Provoke him to come out by luring their DPS partner to chase you, immediately cc the MW when he tries to reposition himself to the other pillar by rolling, intercept him as he transfers over to the other pillar by rolling with your CC's.After you contain their healer in a cc chain maintain purging his yellow hot and you're golden and are probably ahead by this point. Also, make sure to constantly continue doing this strat throughout the entire match, its not a one time only thing, need to constantly do it through the whole arena.

3.)Typically you see MW monks use way of the crane.Depending on which class you play, this should be a free opportunity to CC the MW as he becomes aggressive towards you or your partner.CC the MW Monk during crane, and he'll be forced to go behind the pillar and heal ordinarily again and you can probably kill his partner during this time depending on how well you can execute your damage onto his partner. Also a linked strategy to this is crane costs 1/4 of his entire mana pool, so after CCing him you're effectively cutting his healing not only by preventing him from healing, but from being able to outlast any further.

yeah this is cool until pressing mana tea + thunder focus + crane costs 70% of your health bar and then when the guy sees crane finally come out after 2 gcds he uses evasion/parley/dbts/blur/darkness/blade dance and then you realize the mistake youve made as you panic and try to juke the guys kick to heal yourself but then you end up getting kicked and die and youre extremely embarassed and then you say "ggs guys starting to lag" so that it makes you not look that bad that you died because your teammates think you were lagging but you still know the truth of what happened and that you were humiliated at the hands of a keyturning 1700 male night elf demon hunter and the only person you have to blame is yourself so you get really depressed and log off wow and tell yourself you have more fun playing heroes of the storm when in actuality you just cant face how youre not able to progress your skills in wow anymore and all your brain can manage to output into your gameplay is being hardstuck duelist and theres nothing you can do about it no matter how hard you try and for the rest of your life youll always have an empty void in your soul knowing you never got gladiator

Cocoon is even weaker in 2s given that dampening starts at 20% and you're likely playing with a class with a mortal wounds effect

But yeah the other people here have definitely given solid advice

The best ones are the "If you nerf Mana Rift DH will be useless" posts. Pretty much an extreme laxative by your standards
I thought this post had some valid points till you said cacoon is basically pally bubble, that right there confirms its a get gud situation.
