How do you all have time for alts?

If you won’t do end game content with all your characters, you probably don’t need most of those.

And the command table can be done from cellphone.

I’ve got 4 60’s atm, one for each covenant. 2 I do pve stuff with, one I’m primarily pvp’ing, one is literally only doing covenant stuff and world quests. It’s been pretty easy and I’ve been able to experience the campaigns to the fullest.

I’d say people with no jobs, or working from home.

The secret, is that I stopped playing and went to a game that has better design xP

It’s all I do, but I’m also slow. Got turned off by the super low anima rewards so I’m hoping that once I level some alts the Anima rewards might be larger down the road.

I agree with you. I feel a bit overwhelmed with things to do on my main.

So many achievements to unlock and better gear to grab. Secrets to find…

An alt is nowhere on my radar right now and I’m an altaholic.

Do at work on my phone.

Burn through these every day so each character only has 1.

Don’t do the maw at all.

Make time for it at beginning of week, dread this day cause I hate the maw.

If you do WQ anima dailies 2 days you get 1k anima. I haven’t run a random dungeon in weeks.

I don’t really have time for them but sometimes just need a change of pace to make me remember how behind I am on both.

If I’m casual, do I have to do Torghast?

Only if you want a Legendary, other than that - not necessary

Some is in the story line.

Hopefully this doesn’t come off as rude but if you barely have time to do the stuff you listed than I don’t think there’s really any tips I can give you.

  • Sending out 2-3 missions shouldn’t take more than a minute unless you’re really needing to strategize.
  • Covenant emissaries I could see taking up to 30 minutes if you’re taking your time, but you also have 3 days to do them.
  • Depending on what your Maw goals are, from my experience this can take up to 45 minutes.
  • You have all week to finish up your Torghast stuff and one layer shouldn’t take more than 45 minutes (also from my experience.)
  • Daily random dungeons really depends on the group. These can take anywhere between 15 minutes to an hour.

I wish I had tips to share… maybe spread your non-daily things over the course of the week instead?

I don’t do any of those.

True, true, but I kind of felt like that was Torghast-lite.

I pulled my kids out of school and press ganged them into service leveling my alts while I’m at work.

Afaik there’s one legendary per wing or close enough. And one legendary that’s directly tied to torghast itself that’s acquired at layer 6. That legendary is used to make other torghast run a bit faster.

I can relate, I only play in the evenings and had no time to level my alts and do other things in game the first couple of weeks after launch. What I’ve found since I’m really enjoying this expansion, I do my weekly, world quests in the morning along with a cup of coffee before my ‘day starts’ like I use to back in the day.

In the evening I queue for heroic dungeons for experience, gear and anima, while I’m waiting to que as dps, I do additional world quests, plus Maw and Torghast runs. So far, I’ve had extra time to currently level one of my alts and work on unlocking allied races which depending on the allied race is huge time sink. Once I found when weekly, world quests can be done within its time frame, it’s been easier to do other things in game.

I have a lot of time on my hands, I play for several hours every day

I have very loose goals for my characters. It allows me to do pretty much whatever I want. No matter what character I choose to play on it’s moving them forward. Do I dwell on what I could have done or could be doing? Not at all.
