I am returning to DF after last playing in season 1. How do sparks work? Does each season have its own unique sparks?
If you’re talking about sparks of ingenuity, in season 2 we had something different called sparks of shadowflame that did something similar but at a higher item level (plus they were easier to get more of), and I’m guessing there’s probably some new one for season 3
Sparks are split into two. One full spark = one crafted item (2x for 2h weapons).
If it’s like Season 2, there will be a weekly that will give you half a spark a week. The catchup method will be that half-sparks drop from content like M+/Raids/PvP until you reach the cap minus one.
So if we’re capped at say, 6 half-sparks (3 crafted items), you’ll be able to get 5 half-sparks from M+ and one from the weekly.
Each season has it’s own unique sparks. Season 1 was Ingenuinity, season 2 was Shadowflame, Season 3 is Dreams.
I have a quest to find a dreaming spark as of today. Where do I find that?
Probably can’t get it til next week since that’s when the season starts.
Can anyone confirm this for me? I’m new to this world of picking up a quest for an item that I cannot loot until next week if so hehe
