so… question about sins in WoW. what constitutes a sin in WoW? tyranny, and murder of innocents are considered sins, but like… are sins different for different races?
if an orc warlock uses the souls of his enemies to fuel his demons, but uses those demons to aid the horde, is that a sin? or is it only a sin if they use horde-souls? what if an orc wants to worship say, the light or void instead of the elements ‘n’ his ancestors, is that a sin?
are race/class combos we can’t be (human shaman, for example) considered sins, hence why we keep killing characters that are them? and what about demon-hunters? they’ve got demon-souls in’em, does that automatically make them sinful, or is it only if they use those demon-powers too-much?
During one of your sexy tea parties, if you choose to judge souls as entertainment then you get to choose their sin. I can’t remember all of them but it’s pride, hypocrisy, greed, cowardice, anger/rage/wrath?
Not 100% certain, but I do know that people who use the turning lane to pass 30 people and then cut into the straight lane go straight to the Maw. We will not be rescuing them in SLs.
I think most sins can be summarized as “intentional harm to others” without proper justification. Even something culturally accepted could be considered cosmically “sinful”.
That said, I believe this comes down more to the Arbiter’s judgement than the Venthyrs.
Possibly.
I think that the Arbiter/Venthyr would consider the destruction of a soul as a very very serious offense.
Your former life doesn’t really matter. If the Arbiter is saying something is a sin, it’s a sin.
I think they’d mostly have the arrogance beaten out of them then send them on their way.
A LOT of souls in the soul river quote “Lord Illidan knows the way” so Demon Hunters still go to the Shadowlands. I’d imagine only Illidan and the player Illidari have souls that go through the twisting nether instead. It’s been ages since I played through the Demon Hunter starting zone but Illidan explains it if you offer to sacrifice yourself to open a portal or door or whatever.
