How do people feel about their main class tier bonuses in S2?

Iffy on the role specific 2pc stuff but Overpower recharge rate from 4pc looks pretty neat.

Arms

(2) Set: Your spells and abilities have a chance to activate a Winning Streak! increasing the damage of your Mortal Strike and Cleave by 2%, stacking up to 10 times. Overpower has a 15% chance to remove Winning Streak!
(4) Set: When your Winning Streak! ends, Overpower deals 20% additional damage and recharges 75% faster for 2 seconds per stack of Winning Streak! you had.

Pretty cool, but mid about it overall.

I like clockwork/scavenger mogs. I’m having a huge preference shift from magic things to tech stuff.

TMW we’ve been doing mainly magic stuff for the past 20 damn years. Gets boring.

I like the Jackpot! mechanic but I dislike the Winning Streak! mechanic, because the latter actually has room for disappointment and bad RNG.

Which for me further divides ranged verse melee, I was actually thinking about picking up DK or Feral but now I don’t want to lol.

As for the tier sets, I really like the MM hunter one, the idea of my Auto Attacks firing 3x as fast and hitting 6x as much sounds great. The 4 piece is just gravy.

The Affliction one is a little bland for the 2 piece, although Haste is always welcome. But AOE Unstable Affliction? Yes Please.

The Destruction tier set sounds like it could be really fun visually (coupled with new talent changes).

Beast Mastery sounds fun but I fear it’ll simply play as more passive pet damage.

I don’t care for any other specs.

Yea Aff 4pc looks real saucy.

Forgot about Fire Mage but more ways to get Combustion off CD is always welcomed.

I really dislike the RNG nature of it, it will be impossible to work around or to try and fit into a burst window.

It’s hilarious how they just do not want to make or balance tier set effects.

Lazy as all hell.

We accepted the whole “Generic effect for season 1” But now they’re pushing it.

And everyone is just smiling and cheering.

2 piece MM is pretty weird tbh. But the entire spec is changing so I will wait to see how it all works together.

The Prot Pal one is definitely getting nerfed.

I don’t know what mine is. I don’t see any value in reading that far ahead, when things might change. On top of it, not worth potentially getting upset about something I can’t change.

I’ll look into what it is when it’s S2 time.

  • (2) Set: Each time you take damage you have a chance to activate Luck of the Draw! causing you to cast Shield Wall for 4 seconds. Your damage done is increased by 15% for 10 seconds after Luck of the Draw! activates.
    (4) Set: During Luck of the Draw! Sheild Slam’s chance to critically strike is increased by 50% and its critical strikes reduce the cooldown of Shield Charge by 6 seconds.

I think it’s stupid, I hate chance and I hate crits, I think it will make Prot warrior more defensive since we’ll have more shield walls… but it’s not predictable and I HATE that. I’ll still main prot warrior, and I’m sure they’ll still be good, even with the changes to rage, but I’m not happy with it.

Frost Mage Tier sounds interesting. I’m just going to be randomly shooting frost bolt volleys everywhere all the time and it’ll be fantastic.

RNG on top of RNG.

Makes playing the game pointless and boring. The point of some RNG is to spice things up but not to the point you lose 100% control of how you play the game.

Retail is quickly becoming a casino for the whales.
