You have to watch videos or read guides on every M+ Dungeon before going into them and every raid boss before doing the raid, because going into any of this content blind is (justifiably) considered being a jerkwad
Look I’m not some ADD-having tiktok zoomer (honest) but I do not have the patience for it. Every time I think about stepping into new season content I end up just doing some rated battlegrounds instead. At least I know all the battlegrounds already.

Basically every hobby in the world requires you to do some “required reading” before you actually do the hobby. I think of this the same way.

None of that is required. It is voluntary for only those people who choose to do Mythic Dungeons and Raids.
For anyone like me who does Follower Dungeons and Story Mode Raids there are no such requirements.

The only new dungeon is the eco dome.
There are quick videos for each boss that shows it from different levels. Most high end guilds post raid plans so you just read that.
You don’t need to do any of it.
Go into dungeons blind.
Guild did the same for normal raid on PTR, and we got hardwalled by Fractillus. (My improvised strat wasn’t heeded to, and we wiped… a bit.) Until we came back the next day and killed it.

Every dungeon this season is a dungeon i have done already except for 1, which i learned at +7 and listed as a completion group because thats what its for, more or less.
Its good to watch quick guides for raid if you plan to go above normal though.

Ive never had anything pop up in game that says i cant do something without reading something else besides the tos/eula. Are you somehow stuck on the eula and cant get to login? That would suck.

Sub to someone like Izen on Youtube, people who upload general info guide type videos to keep people updated. He will link the seasonal guides in his descriptions, that’s how I find them, like the Larias guide which I’m using.
I take screenshots of the Item Level tables and flow charts and post them in guild Discord for people.
You’re probably just slow if you still can’t figure out the gear after a few expansions worth and with people showing you the charts and guides, if you can read English, you can use the guides.
I also like Tettle’s “easiest dungeon” tier lists. Those are sleeper helpful because then you know what dungeons to do last when you climb IO, that means you just keep Gambit low and do everything else, then do Gambit when your IO is 2k lmao. He also explains why they’re hard, which basically is a highlight reel of the pain point mechanics, so you don’t need to watch 40 minute guide videos on each dungeon.
Doing Gambit in low pug keys with people who don’t know the mechanics is a nightmare. Priory is also pretty bad if DPS don’t use stops. You will see people just 100% to 0 out of no where, it’s because of no stops, it’s not just kicks.

I never bother with any of that. The only way I can learn things is to do them myself.
Reading stuff is typically moot as they do silly things like call out the effect by their names instead of “green swirly thing” or “wind blowing mechanic” or whatever. Videos are worse, just mumbling over a cacophony of effects and sounds. 9 times out of 10, I don’t even know who the character recording the video is.
They also do things like use the names of bosses as if I have any idea what they’re talking about. I never know the names of bosses. Or mobs. Or anything else. I consider myself quite lucky to know the name of the dungeon.
“Pegleg guy” “The big crab” “The adds casting in the fire”.
Because when I’m there, those are the things that I see. Colors, motions, etc. Not names.

You sound like you’re deaf and blind and have a learning disability or something, wtf? That’s not normal to be that indifferent to reading and comprehension.
If I showed you the flowchart, you would not be saying all that as it’s just a flow chart of pictures with very little text, it’s picture book or magazine level of comprehension required, less than magazine, less than looking at a graph.
I understand what you’re saying about the dungeon mechs though, I learn them best when I just do them as well and then if I mess up, having someone go “stand here”, that’s the best way to learn them imo.

Perhaps this is not the game for you? Don’t force yourself to do something you don’t enjoy.
Focus upon an area and do that until you are comfortable with it, then expand that comfort zone. So you do are interested in mythic+, learn 3 or 4 instances (they aren’t that hard really) and when you have enough experience with them then move on to the other 4 in the season. Once you learn those, you now understand how to run all of them.
Same thing with raiding, you learn their base mechanics in normal and then you move on to heroic once you have that down.

I just don’t do it. I went through seven years of university for my job. I’m not hitting the books and doing homework just for a video game. I’ll relax and have fun in story mode.

The thing is, its not needed regardless.
Between the journal and low level versions of the dungeons. And it being dungeons we’ve generally had before.
One can just learn through doing and glancing at the journal.

They’re short stories and also they’ve been putting them up as audiobooks on youtube.
Also the devs already know most wow players don’t read.
You can post “graphical flowchart” a billion times and people will still go “i’m not reading that” and call it home work, even though it’s equivalent to looking at a magazine.
You’re lazy, I don’t care if you went to uni for 20 years.
yeah it feels like homework in a game that’s supposed to be fun. But this torture chamber with a timer is apparently tons of fun for many. I have nearly zero desire to run a D3 greater rift challenge mode with optimal pathing.
