How do New Players Open Catalyst on 10.2.?

So I just came back to WoW about 3 weeks ago

I was trying to find the quest line to open the revival catalyst… wow head says it has been deleted

I’ve cleaned out Tyrhold… done some campaign quests there

But there is nothing in the catalyst room

I have found this:

To unlock the Revival Catalyst, you start by accepting the “Reviving the Machine” quest from Watcher Koranos at the top of the Seat of the Aspects (at the top of the highest tower in Valdrakken)

That’s all I can think of. I’ve had it unlocked since it came out so I guess I figured it was just open to all by now without any prerequisites.

Edit: just be aware you are limited on charges per season, so if you plan on converting a full set you might be limited on how much you can convert later when you’re higher ilvl. I think it’s capped at six charges this season.

However, completing a full clear of heroic raid OR achieving 2000 m+ score OR challenger 2 in pvp will award you one-time token that grants you a free piece of hero track tier (467 or 473 before upgrades I think?) of your choice.

You cannot get two tokens by doing both. It’s an either/or thing. Fyrakk also drops universal tier tokens you can buy a piece of tier of your choice with and that drops in lfr too.

There’s a new quest called… Catalyst’s Gift right by the fountain in Valdrakken
