Ive never done Mythic + but heard abot keys
From what i understand each time you do a mythic you can get a key for the next level, so if you do mythic 2 you get a key for lvl 3 etc
Does gear increase with mythic?
if i get to mythic 20 is it better gear than mythic 15?
does it keep going up? or is there a limit?
Yes.
Yes. +20 is the highest reward for M+.
Depends on how much time is left over. You can increase the key by +1, +2, or +3 depending on how fast the run is. If you fail the timer, it is -1.
so if i get to mythic 20 anf full gear in it , thats it? i won the expansion? no more loot?
This is a MMORPG, you don’t “win”.
There’s end-of-dungeon drops, but gear from the Great Vault will be higher.

But yeah every few keys you get like 4-5 ilvl better gear all the way up to 18
Weekly end rewards are up to +20 keys

Just additional info… Mythic+ is not the hardest difficulty of the game. It doesnt carry the best loots/gear of the game. Mythic Raiding is the most difficult content of the game… a game for 20-man raid. Mythic+ is like a stepping stone towards Mythic Raiding, an alternate progression instead of doing Normal and Heroic Raiding.
The best players of this game plays both Raiding and Mythic+.
And when you beat Mythic Raiding of the Season, a new Raid would open up to start the next Season and you would do it all over again.
There’s no ending when you play an MMO. The Win scenario depends on your personal goal. Many players are happy just to get Ahead of the Curve AoTC Achievement or Keystone Master, KSM Achievement. It depends on how you would like to play this game.

difficulty is relative. Also mythic raids dont scale. Only true difficultly of mythic raiding is the time committment and hoping the 19 other players do mechanics properlly
WoW isn’t about the loot as the end of the expansion.
If you get Cutting Edge, Complete 20’s on all M+ affix combinations, and get Gladiator in at least 1 rated pvp format - I could see an argument made that you’ve “won” that tier within an expansion.
