Why do people defend Sylvanas, who very much kills civilians and has more blood in her ledger than a thousand Jainas?

Jaina has a tragic life. Her actions are understandable. Her man turned Psychopath and razed his own kingdom, in order to protect his kingdom, her father ignored her and gave into hate. Her country exiled her. Her man killed her mentor and razed Dalaran. Her city was nuked. She just wants someone to listen to her.

There’s literally an entire event named “The purge of dalaran” and you’re going to pretend It’s just not true? Ooookay :roll_eyes: Typical alliance, pretending they never do anything bad.

The Horde isn’t used to such an extensive loss in WoW. Their entire story from level 1 to cap is kicking the Alliance in the teeth over and over and over and over again. Losing 3 BE’s onscreen and in-game is a loss the likes of which they have never been subjected to anywhere else in the game.

Only the Alliance are forced to suffer genocides and complete destruction of our cities and zones.

As for how do people defend Jaina? I dunno. I’ll admit her rush into being a peacenik again so early into BfA is pretty baffling but I am so used to bad writing at this point I barely even blinked an eye. Doesn’t really compare to how her big “redemption” story was wrapped up after sitting in a forest crying for 5 minutes. Such wasted potential.

Man I dont get why people argue over this games current story. I checked out of WoW’s story completely this xpac. Its so bad its not worth getting worked up over.

The pride of Kul Tiras ain’t free it’s got to be littered with the blood of drust, quillboars and witches. Jaina Proudmoore aka the daughter of the sea ain’t my lord admiral she is patricidal and probably a horde sympathizer also. Kings Honour not locktar ogre. Lord admiral’s favor, friend.

I liked her when she was written as Arthas’ love interest and Kael’thas was in love with her but could never have her. It was pretty well written. It’s after her great quote of “I can’t watch you do this…” that it all hit the fan pretty fast. Her character is as bad as you said now, but it wasn’t always that way.

heres my stance. i think jaina needs to be answered for the purge of dalaran and her op powers need to be stripped bc there’s no tension in the story anymore bc shes unkillable. the zandalari king literally makes a pact with death and still gets defeated while jaina apparently can fly, freeze tons of ships, and make a huge ice arena to fight on. i think that she couldve been one of the best written characters if they didnt just make her character do an abrupt switch. but like i said the powers are too much. im tired of her just being able to do anything. and im sorry that i necroed this but i wrote too much before realizing the date. also if jaina and sylvanas dies, neither side should be mad. im tired of both of them (but mostly sylvanas)

Jaina is hardly a innocent person though I will say, considering she terrorised the Sunreaver civilian population, -nearly- commited genocide and refused to defend Azeroth from the Legion because she didn’t get her own way.

They’re sorta on equally footing in terms of “wrong” deeds.
