Title says it all. Trying to recraft my Infurious Spirit’s Hood but I am not able to apply the Greater Crest of Honor.
Need a spark of shadow flame. You get one from the main quest and then you get a fracture of shadow flame every week( you need 2 to make a full spark)

The crests are essentially useless since you should be using trophies for every Spark of Shadowflame you can get instead. Seems to me they shouldn’t have the crests requiring sparks but what do I know.
The pvp weekly quests gives a shattered shadow flame. You need two to make spark of shadow flame. It is better to use the spark for pvp item level 450 or that trophy of conquest item.
It truly makes no sense for crest and trophy to both require sparks when sparks are so limited. This feels like a mistake. Why would anyone use a crest? As a temporary embellishment before an alt has the conquest to replace it with a recrafted trophy 450? That’s a stretch.
I’m not a fan of the sparks in general. Should just be a crest or a trophy and that’s it. The way it is now crests are useless and we are slightly gated in aquiring our 450 embellishment gear. Perhaps there’s something here that I’m not seeing.
