How do I summon fel hound?

I completed the orb quest for fel hound* I don’t know how to summon it how do I summon it?

You can’t summon a fel guard in classic. And you edited your post. There was a lot more there before. Stuff that sounds suspiciously like retail.

What was suspicious? Asking if a Classic staff (staff of shade) is better than another classic staff? (Staff of Dar’Orahil)

Are you a warlock? Because I just did a Warlock quest that literally made me choose if I wanted the power to summon a Fel Guard or the power to summon an Infernal and I chose Fel Guard

The quest is a but confusing, but I believe what happened is you learned the Felhunter summon, and at the same time you learn the Infernal summon.

The infernal requires a summoning ritual, but the felhunter is just another demon to summon.

I don’t believe there is a Fel Guard summon, although that does get introduced in TBC.

Fel Guard does not exist in Classic WoW. You are confusing it with something else. Fel Guards don’t appear in wow till TBC pre patch.

I just went back and it’s FelHound not Fel Guard. I got the 2 mixed sorry. There’s 3 Fels: FelHunter Fel guard and FelHound. I still need to know how to summon the FelHound

are you talking about the level 40 class questline? That doesn’t give you the ability to summon anything, it just gives you a choice of a staff or an offhand. If you chose the infernal, the options will have firepower, if you choose the fel hunter, the options will be shadow power.

I made the same mistake too on my lock, I thought I was choosing to summon an infernal, but you don’t learn that until level 50. I was kind of annoyed because If I’d known that I would have chose the fel hunter.

As I told you in the thread where you asked which to do, you misunderstood the quest. You chose to capture the essence of a felhunter, giving you a +shadow damage item, not the essence of an infernal, giving you a +fire damage item. It has nothing to do with your demon summoning quests.

Probably a typo? He wouldn’t be asking if it was retail as you learn those spells automatically
