How Do I Stop Missing The Hole?

I’m doing the boomball quest where you’re supposed to get four hole-in-ones, but there is no accuracy when using Drive or Explosive Drive. You can cast onto the exact same spot but the trajectory varies and it keeps missing. Even more annoying how hills don’t seem to change the path at all after the balls land.

How in the world are you supposed to get your balls in these holes? I can’t believe I’m raging at my monitor over a freaking quasi-golf quest. This is beyond maddening.

Steer the ball with the mouse look.

Well the trick is to never give up and shoot and many shots as possible. It’s a numbers game.

Aim a good bit short, hold down both mouse buttons, and roll it into the hole.

Yes THANK YOU. What a difference that made. This was not intuitive at all.
