I figure a bit of clarification might be helpful for those that aren’t sure about levels and riding abilities:
Character level = Rank, Speed, Type, and Cost (in gold)
10 = Apprentice, 60%, Ground, 10g
20 = Journeyman, 100%, Ground, 50g
30 = Expert, 150%, Flight, 250g
40 = Master, 310%, Flight, 5,000g

Well… you can start in Vashj’ir doing side quests and explore the area. I have not seen any command board with the underwater zone…I would love to go there and enjoy it. I very much liked the zone. Not in love with it, but I wouldn’t mind bringing a toon there to start a Cata quest line.

But yeah it’s weird how I figured out that choosing cataclysm puts you in classic mode whereas when you start your new tune they are in BFA mode.
I think all new toons need to start in cataclysm mode but that’s an argument for another thread
