I started taming a bunch of blue themed pets purely because of the dire stable glyph.
Got my main blue spider and loque’nahak, then a long list of special blue pets.
Highly recommend.
Yeah I’m trying to get that lava scorpion, and then at some point hopefully I can get Terrorpene, but he doesn’t require Molten Front (I think)
He shouldn’t. He spawns in front of the throne as a rare. Might be camping that one for awhile due to it’s location in front of the raid.
And the scorpion is a super easy tame. There are plenty. The molten front rare spawns are kinda awful due to how heavily camped they are, and a few require you to actually gain the rep and do the molten front dailies for awhile lol.

Literally right after I went back to Hyjal after I realized I was stupid earlier, I found him and tamed him.
Also just got to the Molten Front and found my scorpion!

After I got Terrorpene and my new lava scorpion (I named him Pinchy), I went to Zaralek and got a lava snake (named him Slidey), a lava ray (named him Wingy), and then went to northern Waking Shores and got a magmammoth (named him Tusky). My entire call pet roster is just lava pets now.
For context as to why, I’m mainly just celebrating that I managed to get my BIS polearm off Rashok lmao
You have to start the WHOLE Cata questline starting with the underwater world of Vash’jr. You can’t open the portal to Mount Hyjal and start the quests without going in specific order. I am so so so deeply sorry for you my friend. I think you might rethink that rare pet idea.
