How do I run two copies of WC?

on the same computer, how do I run two copies of warcraft?

I have opened up battle.net and logged into one account and launched WC, then quit battle.net and opened it again, logged into other account and launched another copy of WC.

Ok, that works but it’s a hassle and I seem to remember that someone originally told me I have to make a complete copy of the warcraft folder or something.

anyone have some tips here? how do you do it?

it would be preferable to have two copies of battle.net running (one for each account)

you don’t have to close battle.net,

just switch to the other account after opening the first then launch the 2nd, no need to make copies

As I’m thinking about this I’m remembering more,

People used to swear up and down that on a mac, to do things properly you had to copy your whole warcraft folder, make a new one. They would say that on a mac, that’s just how it has to be done.

True? Not true? If I do this, use one folder, is one running copy of the game stepping on the resources of the other?

  1. You don’t need to copy your WoW installation.
  2. You do need two active WoW subscription accounts.
  3. You launch WoW on the one account, minimize the game, you go back to the launcher, switch to the other account and launch it.
Poof… you have two instances of WoW running at the same time.
